Description
"Magic, as old as time,Love, as deep as the midnight abyss,"
Both were princesses, yet only one was known. Isabella and Stella—twins born to the mighty wizard king, Lawrence. While Stella, blessed with celestial magic, was adored and celebrated in the grand kingdom of Mythiopia, Isabella was but a whisper lost to time, a magical void abandoned in the human realm, her very existence forgotten by her people.
Yet, in the human world, as an orphan, she found a home. She found Dylan—her unwavering constant, her solace. Both remained blissfully unaware of the fate woven for them millennia ago, of the destiny that loomed ever closer. Would Isabella ever find her way back to the magical realm? And if she did, would she even wish to stay?
------------
Calhoun, the eldest beast prince of Vandrad, yet the disgrace of the royal lineage. Born to the mighty Dragon King, yet devoid of a beast within him.
His life had been a careful dance upon a battlefield, each step a measured response to the schemes of those who sought his downfall. He had long accepted his fate, learned to survive with what little was granted to him. But what happens when fate offers him something different—when, for once, he is given the freedom to be something more than a shadow?
Will he finally understand himself, unravel the mysteries that bind him? Will he rise to his destined place in the grand design of fate? Will the beast within him awaken at last? Or will he remain forever the shunned prince, a legend written in sorrow?

- Deifi WritesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Beautifully written and well polished story. Though I feel like the side characters need some character development and more attention, I love the way to two worlds go parallel with their stories closely intertwined yet completely oblivious. Eager to read more and waiting for daily updates. Nice work!! Adding it to my library
- ShyPrincessRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Plot & Worldbuilding (5/5): The story masterfully constructs a complex multiverse of realms, each vivid and unique. From the magical landscapes of Mythiopia to the beast-ridden kingdom of Vandrad, each realm feels like a distinct world brimming with history, power, and conflict. The dynamic relationships between the kingdoms and their rulers add depth, especially with the juxtaposition of Isabella's hidden identity and Lawrence’s fatherly yet tragic role. The magical portal serves as an apt symbol of fate, pulling characters between realms with seemingly irreversible consequences.
Characters (4.5/5): The twin protagonists, Isabella and Stella, have a layered and compelling relationship, tangled by magic, destiny, and hidden truths. Lawrence's moral struggles and Calhoun's self-loathing add emotional weight to the plot, making their journeys deeply relatable. However, some secondary characters could use more development to make their motivations clearer. Dylan and Adrian, for example, seem to play important roles but could use more depth to flesh out their personal stakes and arcs.
Themes & Symbolism (5/5): The story effectively tackles universal themes like family, redemption, destiny, and self-discovery, all wrapped in a fantasy narrative. The symbolism of the magical portal, the twins' separation, and the hidden powers resonates throughout the plot. The contrast between light and dark, as well as the symbolic struggle of each character with their identity, offers rich thematic exploration. There's room to dive deeper into the impact of these themes on the characters' psychological development.
Writing Style & Engagement (4.5/5): Your writing flows with poetic charm, capturing the mysticism and grandeur of the magical world. The vivid descriptions are immersive, but there are moments where pacing slows as multiple storylines intertwine. Fine-tuning the transitions between these plot points can enhance the readability and engagement, ensuring that the intricate worl - ChillPill09Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the parallel universe kind setting here. The characters are well described and would love to see how they evolve and develop. Overall, a nice read with a refreshing plot and content. Looking forward to see how Isabella, Dylan, Calhoun and Stella grow through out the novel. ♥️
- Battery_LowRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story line is quite new and refreshing. Looking forward to read more of this story. I mostly read urban fantasy and this book is a mix of urban fantasy and kingdom setting. Loving it so far!! Waiting for the dragon to rise. Nice work and worth spending time.
- MonolaMinyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Kingdom built on magic. A forgotten heir. A prophecy unraveling. This story delivers an immersive fantasy filled with mystery, power struggles, and emotional depth. The four realms feel distinct yet interconnected, shaping the fates of the characters in ways they don’t yet understand.
Isabella’s journey from an ordinary orphan to a key figure in a magical realm is gripping, while Stella’s life of privilege hides its own burdens. Lawrence’s choices haunt him, and Calhoun’s secret identity adds an exciting layer of intrigue. Each character feels like a piece in a larger cosmic puzzle, though a few supporting roles could use more attention.
The writing balances vivid imagery with fast-paced storytelling, keeping the stakes high. Themes of destiny, sacrifice, and hidden truths run deep, making this more than just a fantasy—it’s a story about identity and choice. With a bit of refinement in pacing and character depth, this could be a truly unforgettable epic.
A little more work can be done on characters like Benjamin and Vakra. Because I still don't know who exactly is the ultimate villian.
Hope everyone enjoys this story. Looking forward to read more. Eager to see how each character develops and how the reunion is going to be. - ShrekOnTheBeachRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The world-building in your magical realms is rich and layered. The four realms, with their distinct characters and motivations, make for a compelling fantasy universe. The interwoven destinies, like the twins' tragic separation and Isabella's hidden powers, offer potential for exciting developments. The concept of the kingdoms, especially Mythiopia, Vandrad, and the Human Realm, is well-developed and brimming with intrigue.
You’ve got a dynamic cast with strong emotional conflict, particularly the twins, Lawrence, Stella, Isabella, and Calhoun. Each character’s internal struggles are engaging, like Lawrence’s moral dilemma and Calhoun's self-blame. Stella’s role as a princess who might unknowingly trigger an ancient power adds intrigue. The one area where you could push even further is the depth of secondary characters (e.g., Adrian, and others), giving them more defined motivations and arcs.
The themes of family, power, destiny, and redemption resonate deeply. Isabella’s journey toward self-discovery, especially when tied to her powers, creates a central emotional arc. The symbols of the realms (light vs. dark, the mystical energy, the dragon's curse) are well-placed, but you could explore more subtle, symbolic layers (like the contrast between human and magical realms) to enhance the narrative.
Your writing is descriptive and evocative, painting a vivid picture of the magical realms. However, there are moments where pacing could be refined—especially with such intricate plotting. The story's complexity can be its strength, but occasionally, the layering of plotlines might benefit from more streamlined transitions to keep readers engaged at a steady pace.
This story has fantastic potential with its complex plot, intriguing characters, and deep emotional stakes. If you continue to refine the secondary character arcs and smooth out the pacing, it will truly shine. Keep the layers of mystery and character growth strong, and you have an epic fantasy that could captivat - BornToBeWildButLazyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Liking the story and characters. This is not a typical setting and has two parallel worlds going and I guess there will be some swap happening at some point. The fantasy world is well designed and the urban setting is something most of the readers can relate to. This nice mixture of romance, magic and beasts.
