Description

Daichi lived in a wonderful world. Happiness was common, people knew their neighbors, his life like any other could be described in one word: peaceful.

Then one day that changed, his life as well as the lives of everybody in his town suddenly ended.

In one day the lives of nearly everybody he knew were suddenly snuffed out seemingly for no reason.

The aftermath leaving a changed world with new rules, and only four survivors from once thriving town.

The world now different, leaves only one choice and one path for those surviving to follow; The path to power or death.

Note: Please note, this story was never categorized as a LitRPG, it merely contains those elements as a plot point for the development of the plot later on.

    Uwaa, so much negativity in the reviews.. I don't get it ? Why write a review such as this after reading only 12 chapters mister Horius ? Sure the prologue wasn't much of a prologue but still to rate the style with 2 stars based on the prologue and bubbles ? Are you kidding me ?
    As long as I am concerned this is the author's first story so he is bound to form his own style as he goes further. Do you even know how a person's style is formed ?
    At first, you pretty much copy the style of other books you've read and even though most books use quotation marks to split thoughts from words there are others that don't and others that use the name of the character before the sentence.
    The point is you don't start with a unique style but you mold it through experience and after saying that you've only read 12 chapters into the ff I don't believe you deserve to describe the author's style. Have you read further into the novel sure, go ahead and say what you believe to be true.
    Last but not least, and even though I am no expert in English grammar, there are bound to be mistakes at first. That is the reason why we readers like you did must point out the mistakes for the author to fix. No one is perfect.
    So here I am asking you.. Why so much negativity ? There are far worse ff's on the site and I don't see the reason why you go to such lengths for a work that has 4 stars on it ?
    I personally enjoyed the read unlike you and kept reading. More so, I bet there are other people who share the same or similar thoughts to mine.
    That concludes my 'review' or 'reply' take it as you wish and thank you for taking your time to read it.
    PS: In your review you said 'I stooped reading at chapter 12, so I might not be the best judge. But I stooped reading because of the Characters.' I believe you meant you stopped reading because 'stoop' is equivalent to kneel down. See ? No one is perfect at grammar :P

    I have really enjoyed the story so far and I am looking forward to any future posts. For some reason I saw that the top review was negative and it befuddled me that it was the top review even though the writer of the review had only read 12 of your chapters. If this gets you down please don't let it, i'm really enjoying your work and i'm really impressed at how well your tying in this new ark and the new characters in it. In reality the only real complaint I can make, knowing how hard it is to write a story like this, is that I would like the chapters to be slightly longer on your regular releases. However if you can't do that without sacrificing some quality or something from your personal life, then don't worry about it, i'm still gonna read your story any way.
    Also whoever did your cover art is eggselent. :)

    I like the story a lot. The plot is great. However, there are a few points that detract from the story.
    First of all, the story really needs an editor. If the author or someone else went through the chapter after it was written and removed most of the many errors, it would be much more pleasant to read. Some glaring ones include:
    Missing capitalizationTypos and missing or extra wordsMissing apostrophes when writing possession Incorrect use of "their" and "then"Usage of both "him" and "it" when describing the same monster. Stick to one in a sentence or paragraph, don't randomly switch between them. Use of "it's" when meaning "itsAnother thing that I noticed is that POV changes are abrupt and often not immediately obvious. In some cases we get the thoughts of some characters when in another's POV or the POV changes without notice.
    If all of the above were to be addressed, this would easily be a 5 star story.

    This story is a mixed bag.
    It will probably not strike anyone as brilliant yet think many will be entertained while reading it which is not a bad grade.
    Characters are fairly interesting yet find their interactions like sand in my shoes.
    The story is good and have a nice pacing though i did find the beginning dull and the weakest point.
    If you care about grammar and that stuff (which i dont) this might be bit jarring of a read, but to ofset this the amount of content that is released is insane, he basically write as much as 10+ average RR writers.
    Personally id rather have a finished novel in less then a year then to have one with spotless grammar that does not get completed in 10years
    World building gets a honorable mention as its essential in these epic fantasy novels

    I do enjoy the story and world building of this novel. The pacing is a bit odd, but manageable. My biggest gripe is all the spelling and grammar mistakes that are everywhere. In each chapter. It halts the flow of the story so much. I dont care if its only a few here and there. But here there are too many...

    I will be honest a lot of this story feels forced and unexplained and even stupid. Most of the logic with the gods seems really badly thought out and the powers and magic seems kind off boring and repetitive.
    But with all that said the characters are amazingly well built. You fleshed them out so well that i feel a connection to them.
    A cold-hearted MC as well as a simple perverted one and two girls that contrast each other. The interactions between the characters and how they think of each other as well as how their opinions change over time is actually more interesting than the main plot of the story itself.
