There were once many Gods. Now there is The Emperor. Through him the ruling lords gain their power, their influence and longevity. Through him the Empire grows, and Tsirin, the old lands, buckle and fall. Through him, the extremely fortunate are redeemed from an ancient curse, whisked away to better lives.

It is in this curse that a peasant boy finds true power. Power that might topple an Empire.
