Description

Being reborn after an unfortunate encounter with a reincarnated individual, an ordinary man becomes one of the many gods bound to their little pocket dimensions inside the realm of the infinite void.

Starting out with absolutely nothing, he has to build up his realm and survive in this strange and wonderful world. Unfortunately, it seems the competition is quite well established, and fate has forgotten to give him a cheat ability to exploit. Relying solely on his wits, our newly ascended god has to find other ways to gain the upper hand, and carve out a place for himself that is truly worthy of a god.

GoN is a soft-LitRPG, with stats and game elements featuring prominently in the story, but not being the main focus. Most numbers are simply tracked in the background, and  mentioned only when appropriate. Progression will be slow and gradual, with very few rapid jumps in power. Focusing on exploring the world and the system rather than making number go up, this novel tries to find a middle ground between progression and the development of character relationships and events. Many of these will unfold outside of the MC's control, and trying to adapt to an evolving understanding of the world will be a central tenet of the storyline.

Viewpoints from characters other than the MC will occasionally be explored in interlude chapters, serving to explain and ground the events of the main story in the setting and introduce characters ahead of time.

Very interesting story. The MC isn't overpowered and as far as I can tell will have to grow stronger like others in his situation. Has good world building that you can tell was thought out. The MC in this story doesn't always fight which makes me happy because there is no point engaging in a fight you will lose. I love this story it is exactly what I want from a strategy base building(ish) book.
