What looks like a hardy, self-sustaining cycle can rapidly come crashing down with the introduction of an invader. With special resources and tools honed for a different land at their disposal, just a handful of individuals from an invasive species can be the beginning of the end for an ecosystem unready for them.

And what is a whole planet other than a large ecosystem?

In the year 2048, a drone operator and his AI companion find themselves in a land most fantastical, one fit for pen and paper table-top games. This world, filled with phenomena that defy logic, is looked upon with great curiosity by the daydreaming man and the cold machine.

    It's off to a great start. I'll update this as the author posts more. (Note i have not read the author's other works)
    Based on the synopsis and the prologue, I'm highly interested to see where it goes. It's well written, the characters seem interesting, and it's very descriptive.

    it's a good start and gives an interesting feel compared to the generic si-fi meets fantasy books you see and personally have more belivebality to it honestly just from the synopsis and prologue i can say i am definently looking foward to where this leads and i hope it dosent become something generic because right now it's a good mix of the old and the new. (also the decriptions make me quake in my shoes) loving it so far keep it up.
