Being able to review ourselves is a neat little function, but does make me a bit weary. Can I honestly evaluate my own work? Especially when I feel I haven't gotten enough objective eyes on it? Any words I have to say our going to be completely subjective, but then again, as a self assessment, that's to be expected, possibly encouraged.
With that being said, God Complex is the kind of story I've always wanted to read and I'm happy I'm the one who gets to write it. It has elements from many of my favorite things, (mainly, and quite obviously, mythology!) and is almost like a love letter to the things that have inspired me. My anime inspired art style, the kinds of characters I'm playing with, the brand of humor and writing. I like to think that it feels both familiar and somehow refreshing at the same time. I'm trying to take a lot of things that you'd expect and do them to their most logical extremes, while occasionally diverting and superseding expectations.
For me, the first chapter was not only the hardest to write, but also the hardest to stomach. It's written the way it is intentionally to created the necessary atmosphere to make the 'jumping point' of the story hit even harder. I hope it doesn't deter many, and for those who do stick with it, I really hope that you're truly happy about the investment you've just made!
As far as my "Advanced Statistics" go, I tried to be honest, but also very much in line with my taste. I feel the biggest draw of the work is its characters and styles. The story is somewhat interesting, but it plays second fiddle to the characters and their interaction and dynamics. The grammar is the weakest part of the entire package, mainly because I don't have a committed editor. I try to find and fix as many mistakes as I can, but I'm not perfect, and will be the first to admit I don't have an eye for that kind of thing.
I hope all of that sheds some light onto my individual feelings about God Complex "Thus far".  I hope that as the work go
