In this story, you follow Desmond through a fantasy world that seems set to fall apart at the seams. Desmond was born a naturally gifted warrior in a world where magic was ubiquitous. So he adapted, learning what magic he could to support his own fighting style. After a near-death experience, Desmond found he could suddenly remember his past life. With this newfound perspective, he seeks out strength. But something in the world has changed. There are invasions on the horizon, rebellion brewing within the Empire, and old gods gaining influence. All threatening the world he is just trying to survive in. Right as Desmond was starting to gain true power, the world seemed set to collapse around him. A new era for the world is dawning! What role will Desmond play?

The start of the Story has been an exciting jump into Action.
I found the few combat scenes very enjoyable to read.
They are easily imaginable and believable, too, with no confusing prose to hinder my enjoyment.
I will admit I am no pro in grammar or how a perfect story should be written; until now, it's at least a solid 4.
Another reason I like this Story is our MC; he is a goddamn Bruiser big lug of a man to my style. I always enjoy a Melee guy when it is done well.
The interactions with everyone have been a pleasure to read.
Everyone feels like their own person, which is a big plus for me.
The romance from the start is also a big plus, and it is well done.
The little bit of the world we have seen and told has piqued my interest, and I am looking forward to where this goes.
The part about reincarnation or past lives also has an interesting take, although I have not read it like that until now.
I am curious how it will be solved for his future potential.
This has been my first review. The overall structure could be better, but you got my honest thoughts; here is that.
Try it out, and it will hook you up in the first few chapters.
I rated this 5 Stars so that this gets some attention.
For my tastes, it's at least a solid 4,5.
Please let this Novel prosper.

The story has been good so far, and I’m looking forward to where it goes from here. I really liked the early jump into the action and the fact that the MC doesn’t start out as a weakling. That has always been one of my pet peeves about new books in this genre. It feels like the MC actually has some agency in the happenings of the novel. Also, the fact that the MC is not always talking about his emotions is a plus for me.

The author doesn’t understand what it means to respect or disrespect women. This comes across in how they portray even respectable women not just as being beautiful or even incidentally also being well endowed (having large breasts), but in how they they chose clothing that is skimpy and overly tight, and how they ignore leering from the main character. The author chose to make this world have a more open relationship style which is fine but they didn’t make any changes around this, and I’m not saying that there should be clear restructuring in the society or something, I’m talking about how even the cursing towards people is the same calling someone suggesting they are unfaithful or open in relationships as an insult. This reaches into the main character as well were even as a character who has objectifying views towards women (witch isn’t a problem to have in a story) they are saying things to themself that reed less like a guy objectifying women and more like an author objectifying women.
Now people putting their preferences for how the world works sexually driven or not into the stories they make isn’t what brings down stories. It’s generally when these things clash with the rest of the story. This story has a well built plot unrelated to the women thing and a well built power system unrelated to the women thing, and even a pretty good world unrelated to the women thing, so every time it pops up (which is constantly) it feels like the story can’t decide wether it wants to be indulging soft porn or wether it wants to be light power fantasy lit rpg and it pulls you out of the story.
