I kind of took a while to get to the end, but after the first…3(?) chapters, I finally picked up the pace. The beginning was slow. Don’t let that stop you from continuing, because that’s where I kept on going after.
    Style - 4,
Concerning the style, I only had trouble with trudging through the beginning. I would keep the style rating higher though, because I got more invested as I kept on reading. The style reads like what I’d expect in a fantasy, like a story about a hero.
    Story - 5,
The story is…fantastic. It’s a fantasy story, and I never expected an isekai to have the original world still in the medieval times. Now when it comes to the curse…I follow the main character’s interest in it only because- to be continued in Characters…
    Grammar - 5,
The words make sense. Sure, I could go all Itra here, but I think the awkward words can definitely attribute to the way the character is made. After spending five days correcting my own grammar mistakes, all these grammar technicalities are…tame. They won’t distract you from the story, and can even contribute to personality. That makes it fine. (Problem using “it” and “that” a lot is frowned upon…but I used them anyway, ha)
    Character - 5,
You can fall in love with these characters. Crazy enough, these characters are falling in love too…relationships are important here, and friendship, romance, and familial ties…they all play a part in the story. When a curse comes around in your world? Well, the old world does not just disappear. There is a driving force for the main character, and it comes from other characters around.
    Anyways,
I also can’t figure out where the low rating came from…they must have been the medieval grammar police from the Night Watch. They’re coming. They know she’s here.

I saw the synopsis, and I was like, this can be a great book! It sounded interesting and spoke to me, I mean, who doesn't like dark curses? I mean, reading about them, since I'd rather not get cursed.
Style: The style is a bit stiff, but that is not too big of a deal, this is the beginning of a new book, and I assume the first book from this author. We all have to start somewhere, and the only way to learn is by writing more. While it is not bad, there is still much to learn.
Grammar: There are a few tiny errors here and there, but nothing too big. Some sentences are too large, while others are small and could use better words. I also noticed a few commas that could have been added. Again, something that will improve with writing more, and once you learn, you backtrack.
Story: It still needs to pick up, but the pacing of the beginning felt a bit off, but nothing too bad. It got me interested, and I surely want to follow the story more, I am keen to see where this is headed.
Characters: Amelia is the main character, she, of course, does not fit in at all. This made me realize immediately why that is, and it even got confirmed in chapter 3. However, I am curious as to how this is going to develop, in these first chapters, the main character shows a lot of, how do I call it? Oomph.
If you are interested in a dark curse book with a seemingly strong female lead that likes to kill rabbits, then this might just be the book for you!
This is an early review based on the first chapters, I will follow the story and update the review if so needed.
