I’m finding the story really enjoyable. It’s pretty interesting to have the future version and current version both alive and separate but I’m digging it so far. I don’t have enough of a feel for things to really tell what future version MC has going on but I expect that to develop as the story does. The characters are well driven with clear motivations. The system parts are fresh and a blend of natural growth and system gifts.
There are quests but it’s already been mentioned in text the suspicion about why the system is ‘helping’. It feels more like someone having sent a message about how to improve than an all-knowing deity letting you know how many bandits are in a cave. I’m a fan of this since it feels more organic.
Overall it’s a pleasant LitRPG romp with good writing and I’m super hopeful it keeps up and expands into the potential I can already see the author creating. Solidly recommend you check it out.
