Garbage Core Master-participant in the November writathon
Community Rating
Description
Roy the material recovery tech (garbage man) has just become a dungeon master. Completely by accident, he promises. But now he has the opportunity to change the world, and he's not gonna sit idle and let a once in a life time opportunity go to waste. We recycle in this home.
If he's lucky, he won't make too many mistakes along the way.
When reading other stories I am always shocked by how insanely powerful dungeon cores are. The things they can do, in a non magical majority setting, would be world changing. I wanted to experiment with that and see how a world would change as I played with that plot device
Most people are ok with criticism, me I am requesting it. I have no Idea what I am doing and I am willing to take suggestions.
You can expect a modern world soft magic system, some major power creep as things get going and an expanding cast of characters as the story progresses.
Daily updates until chapter ten, then twice weekly

- TRXlord09Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5So far this has been a genuine pleasure to read. I love the concept and how it has been written out so far.
Reading each chapter feels satisfying, things are happening, getting done, and the MC is being challenged to stay ahead or at least not fall behind in current events that are outside of his control. He's nowhere near being perfect nor is he a genius that can fully plan ahead while dealing with the stresses of his new life, and things are not working out perfectly for him, but it feels natural of what is happening, how his life changed, and how he tries to face each hurdle.
I can say that this is an instant favourite of mine to read and I am genuinely excited to see how this story develops!
Side note: The MC is not the dungeon, but rather the controller of our lovely dungeon. Even then, it still feels true to what a dungeon can be and what it can do. - UbermachtRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It’s a cool book so far, here’s some non-spoiler bits since they’re like… things you learn in the beginning and such…
MC doesn’t become the dungeon core, they just become its master/controller… and there’s no isekai, or at least there isn’t any yet I’m not sure if that’s a possibility, but MC remains in their world, Modern Earth
