Gaming on a MUD is difficult.

Description

This is a story based on my characters background and journal that I played on a mud (Multi User Dungeon) over the course of several years.  Dozens of people play a text based command line game at the same time.  I figured I'd try to turn in into a story to see if anyone found it interesting.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  This is my first time so not very experienced.

It is a story about how going into a multi player game expecting a typical RPG experience turns into something else because other players are involved.

First, I just want to say that this is different to any other type of novel I'll read. That said, it wasn't bad.
    Style:
Set in the olden days of noise modems and poor -yet cutting edge- technology, Mud is tabletop rpg where players have to input commands to move or action their character.
    Quite cool in a sense.
I loved the character creation section and was glad it had combined into one chapter. Reminded me of a few old games where I would constantly restart to get the best stats I could.
    Story:
Again it's different from your usual litrpg. There's no isekai, no crossing realms and no reincarnation. Instead, it's a dude sat at his keyboard spamming multiple commands to heal, move and level his character.
    Grammar:
I'm not the best person to comment on grammar as my own story is riddled with the likes of missing commas, extra commas and poor punctuation. That said, it's much easier to notice mistakes when reading than it is writing. I've read worse stories in terms of grammar compared to G.O.A.M.I.D but there are few corrections which need looking at and touching up.
    Character:
So far -as of chapter 6, it seems elves are the popular tropes as they were back in that day and age. Other than Death - a system-programmed code designed to piss you off by recounting the number of your deaths each and time you see him, he is the only non elf in the story as of chapter 6. Other than the monsters and player that is.
The player, naming his character Isaiah, eventually settles on an elf warrior after his mage didn't make the cut. A quick suicide and character change so close to the beginning of the game is an easy feat to pull off.
    Smart thinking.
Light, a mysterious half elf who may or may not be some online gaming legend appears from time l-to-time to help out our bumbling MC.
Finally there's Gabrielle, another player gone elf. Only this ones on the torturous scale and the opposite side of justice as Light.
    Overall:
Not a bad read and I'll probably read the other 36 now to see w
