Description
In 'Galactic High', Jack, an average Earthling teenager, is abruptly whisked away from home and thrust into a chaotic new reality in a far-off galaxy. He finds himself enrolled in an alien school on Hive Station Bastilla, a dangerous, anarchic ringworld, where he becomes an unlikely friend with four extraordinary alien girls - Alora, the exiled noble; Nika, the determined warrior; Chiyo, the mystic with psychic powers; and Sephy, the quick-witted trickster.
While navigating the labyrinth of alien politics and survival, Jack and the girls also strive to unravel the mystery surrounding his sudden appearance. Jack is apparently of interest to many hostile forces in this galaxy, prompting relentless attacks aimed at his demise. Why was Jack brought here? Why are these foes after him? And, most importantly, how can he survive in a galaxy far from home, packed to the brim with evil psychopaths?
In 'Galactic High', readers will dive into a rich, interstellar world, brimming with high-tech wonders, mystic alien races, and dangerous intrigue. The novel promises an adventurous romp through the cosmos, exploring the power of friendship, the thrill of survival, and the search for one's destiny in the universe.
This is not isekai for the faint of heart...

- C-DogRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0(I've been keeping track of this story on reddit but wanted to give it a good score here.)
I mean it when I say it, this one of my top favorate stories I've ever read.
The story is great, the characters are likable, and the amount of worldbuilding the writter breaths into it makes the world feel alive.
It honestly feels like every other character that isn't in the protagonists main group have their own opinions, loyalty, and personalities. I'm never thinking them as NPCs but actually important to the stories world building.
Not to mention the humor is nicely done and resonates with me as a lot of it is funny memes from the early 2000s.
Definitely my favorite aspect about this story is just the sheer amount of threats/villains there are. Going back to the note about factions, there's just so many that go beyond good or evil. There's one for practically every alignment. We got choatic evil cartoon clowns, evil cults, good or bad churches, slavers, demon lords, and amazon delivery corperations. It's actually crazy how much this Sci-fi story has a bunch of genres put into it and it feels like an MMO RPG.
It's a definite must read. I dread the day it finishes or stops making chapters. - LeafgRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0No one can call you out on aura farming with badass lines when no one else but you have heard them before, especially when you follow through with kicking ass. I’m loving the blend of fantasy, sci-fi, HFY, and some romance here. I like how there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes, but our mc is just trying to live his life with found family, whilst being a stone tossed into a very deep pond. Hope this story becomes more popular.
- GoldeNeedleRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5A really good blend of sci-fi, action, and isekai? A bit weird, formulated like that, but it is what it is. There are 5 main characters. Jack, the human, Alora, the Eladrie (Elf), Sephy (fae-like), Nika (catgirl), Chiyo (psychic). This quintet really has a good synergy together. They all complete one another, and as the story progresses, more is added to their history of friendship. Bonds forged through the fires of Hive Station Bastilla, a crazy sci-fi setting where life comes cheap and violence is the dominant currency. Funnily enough, homo sapiens have high specs in this reality, making Jack a pseudo Captain America. Jack's situation of trying to find clues to come back home while getting attached to the friends he makes there is also interesting.
If you like lots of action, sci-fi, and bits of slice-of-life here and there, you should read this. - hugassRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5When I say that this story can be described as "chaotic" it is such an understatement it's ridiculous there are so many races fractions religion's etc etc it's endless in a good way
(a few very minor spoilers ahead just to prove my point)
There's an evil gym teacher a evil Shrek there too
Hell There's a dude named captain cocaine who gives his soldiers cocaine for combat
hopefully that's enough to prove how PACT this world is
I feel like the combat is really dynamic and smooth
I personally wouldn't describe this srory as dark. it has it's series moments yes but it's relatively positive
o and before I forget the sidecharacters are fun and unique too☺️ - ErasermarksRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Galactica High is a beautiful marriage between teleported to another world and cosmic what the f*** is going on, where much like the main protagonist the reader is thrown into things without explanation, but that's actually a facet of what is turning out to be a really good story. Pair that with good characters with their own diverse personalities good combat and plenty of "bad" humor ad you get one reader that is eager to see where this story goes.
- Hank222Royal Road★★★★ 3.5I enjoy reading, but my logical part of the brain is in pain, because some parts just don’t make sense at all.
For example in a subway one day away from the main station is a functional train without anyone owning it. They just go there and turn it on.
I also sort of feel like that this book solved racism. Why would you be racist if it would limit you ability to sleep with them … flawless logic - RexZShadowRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I'll start off by saying I loved the story and I highly recommend it to anyone give it a try. Its part isekai, sci-fi, and fantasy. Nice mix to keep it fresh from the usual stuff I read.
So even with glowing recommendation I can only give it 3.5 star due to the pacing of the story is just really off. I have read up to chapter 95 at this point of this review and while a lot of cool stuff has happened nothing has really happened.
Through out the course of the 95 chapter around only 3 weeks ish has passed since the start of the story. That means character had no time to grow or change in any meaningful way, which is a sign of good writing that main cast's personality and ability aren't wildly changing for no reason (aside from a side character I'll get to later). Jack's relationship between the girl has stayed almost the same since the first 10 chapter aside from being in way more close call together but again no time to let any of what happen settle and actually effect them.
The main plot has gone absolutely no where either, we barely know anything about any of the main cast. We learned Alora is a princess and her family might be an issue. We know jack about Jack's situation still after that being the focus but every time they look into it its dead end with no answers.
The school part of the story become completely irrelevant very fast even though the story is called Galactic High you. It just one bad mission into another bad mission into an clown assault into another bad mission into a messy all out battle in the city. I think it was around chapter 70-80 where it did get a bit tiresome because it was kinda more of the same. None of the main cast had time to grow, become stronger, and fight in different ways. They were the same as they were back in chapter 1 just in a slightly different dangerous situation which honestly because it happened so much kinda take any tension out of it. Jack talk about wanting to learn more about magic right when he started school and that - CimmerianRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Most everything is high fantasy, not technological (much). Pretty much slice-of-life school trope. Not what I was hoping for from “galactic high.” At no point has the MC left the school or indicated any desire to go anywhere other than his school, shopping excursions, 1 day adventures, or his dilapidated girl filled home.
I’ve been binging this story for a few hours. It is character driven, cute, and very campy, but it all lacks substance. The characters are decently developed but the story is slow burn with no real character advancement or growth. MC starts OP but under confident; basically alien school girls in psycho murder school swooning over Clark Kent, “oh, am I strong, and smart, and invulnerable… but I’m so sad and life is scary.” Main support cast includes cute aliens who happen to be fairies, drow, angels, kitsuni, elves, etc. Other monster races are featured (ninja pothead Kermit and plenty of cultural references) as well. The story features a “harem” since apparently all female aliens lust for earth boys(?), and they are very sexually open… supposedly… that said, our protagonist finds the few girls who blush when they see skin or think about kissing; MC virgin forever is my guess. Like Japanese stories, apparently the kids all live alone or hook up with zero adult presence outside psychotic or neglectful teachers.
I find myself caring less each chapter, since there is no purpose to the MCs actionsn surviving insanity is his goal. The setting makes no sense; Uber violence and random killing is normal and encouraged, so of course the competitors all go to school together. It’s. Just. Meh. - TweedledeemeRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Started out well. Characters seemed good. At chapter sixty nine they have all become very flat. Very little time has passed but the girls are already trusting him like family and he them. I don’t know what could be done to make it better.
The world that is described sounds like a very interesting place though.
Not my best review. - Dwayne JohnsonRoyal Road★★ 1.5I actually really like the story, but love the characters and their interaction. However, the low rating is due to the 7 or 8 months in between chapters. At this point I am wondering if this has been abandoned. I certainly hope not as I would love to continue reading it.
