Galactic Games: Switchback

These alien d-bags messed with the wrong girl!

My Ford was destroyed, and me along with it, when a semi truck smashed into it.  These aliens - the Deifics as they are called - reconstructed me.  But not for some beneficent reason.  No, they put me back together to compete inThe Galactic Game.The object:  be the first to reach The Tower.Yeah, I have to battle aliens from dozens of different worlds scattered throughout the universe.   Turns out that humans are on the low end of evolutionary scale and none usually survive for more than a few days.  But I am no ordinary human it turns out.  While most competitors are granted only one or twoTalents- superpowers - to help them compete, I have the potential (yeah, I hate that word too) to have an unlimited number ofTalents.  The only downside is that I have to kill other competitors in order to gain theirTalents.  But I am not a killer.  If they leave me alone, they have nothing to fear from me.    But if they do come after me, they are gonna learn not to mess with a girl from New York.
