The Asura made a gamble. The gamble failed and they paid dearly for it. In the wake of their death, they left behind a broken world.

A world where monsters roamed, where demons lurked in every shadow and the All Consuming slowly gather it's essence and grew closer and closer completing it existence and being born anew. while mortals fight among themselves behind their walls ignorant of danger at the horizon. Fortunately, the Asura left a failsafe in the form of an item made from shard of divinity and the flame existence, an object of unimaginable power, called the Orb of eternity. However, in the last battle of the Asura it was lost.

Born without the gift of magic, Gregory Veridian is the disgrace son of the Veridian clan, view as nothing more than a stain to their family name. Worse, one they couldn't remove.
