From Nowhere to Sender Vol 2

There are three things one must ask themselves before disembarking from a Crusader for the first and last times. Is this a place you want to be, a place you need to be, or simply a place TO be? Your first step will be differentiating the three, and your second step will be the first step into a new destination. The person incapable of making this distinction having been discarded along the way.

Lux couldn't recall where those words trickled down from, but she'd disembarked from enough Crusaders over the past year to get a general idea of their meaning. To the extent she was certain the girl from a year ago had long since vanished somewhere amongst the frenzy that is field service. Where exactly she'd been left behind who could say.

But there was no place for that girl on a Crusader, and no destination for it to take her too. Truly nowhere to send her.
