Description

Evetta, a newborn fairy, wakes in confusion and panic upon realizing that she is no longer a human man. Her fear shifts as she explores the cozy yet unfamiliar home hidden in a forest. Thanks to the help of her secretive guard, Revus, Evetta begins to adjust to her lonely life away from her new family. She learns a new language, how to fly, and begins down the path of using the elemental axioms. Her easygoing life is thrown into chaos when she learns that humans are hunting and capturing fairies, and her guard has been targeted for several years. How will Evetta deal ever-growing threat of the fairy hunters, while learning about the circumstances surrounding her separation from her family?

Sorry if the review is a little awkward to read, I don't usually write reviews unless I view the story I'm reading to be exceptional.
Very good. Evetta and Revus are extremely likeable characters, and the story does an excellent job of showing their personalities and making them be so lively. They make a great duo that is very entertaining and seeing them bond was amazing. Character would have to get a 5/5
Grammar has also been exceptional. I couldn't find anything to nitpick here. And as far as stories on this site goes, it's one of the best ones I've read. The words mesh well together and makes reading this very enjoyable. 5/5
Story has also been great. It really makes me curious about what will happen next. It made me wonder about the mysteries that haven't been answered yet in the story. I would say that it has a pretty slow pace overall, but I think that's an overall positive. The slower pace allows for us to not only bond more with the characters, but also to see through Evettas eyes this fantastical world and what could be in it. It also allows us to know Evetta and Revus more and be able to understand their actions more clearly. 5/5
Overall, even though at this point it's still pretty short at this moment, I would have to give it a 5/5. One of the best works I've seen on Royal Road.

This is a quite enjoyable story, the characters are well written and the stories been well paced so far. The MC is a bit on the dim side but given their background that makes sense within the context of the story. There is one rather brutal pit that was a bit hard for me to read but after that everything was quite enjoyable, and I'm really looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
