Fool’s Errand

Caroline Lyndsey has suffered from her mum’s cruel sense of humour every April Fool’s Day for as long as she can remember. Last year it was so extreme that she couldn’t bear to endure another. However, it was only February and her mother has already shown her hand laying the groundwork, her hints ringing alarm bells of another prank subtlety launched.

A friend suggests a prank that could turn the table and see her mum being the April Fool. Caroline needs to enlist her brother, Mason Lyndsey, once jilted at the altar 20 years earlier and ever since a confirmed bachelor, to help her get even, by pretending to be engaged to the classy and gorgeous Lyndsey Mason, a paediatrician and heiress to a fabulous fortune, who has her own agenda with a controlling father.
