Fight for the Truth

Hans was an ordinary child. Raised outside of the capital city, he lived a peaceful life. However, the Holy Empire took over the capital city and destroyed any outside settlements. They burned down the homes of the less fortunate. Hans' mother and father sacrificed their lives to give Hans a chance to run. He ran. For hours and hours, he used up his remaining stamina to run as far as possible. He had made his way to an abandoned shrine dedicated to an unknown god. Without any energy left in his legs, he had to drag himself inside to rest. Then, a voice reached out to him. "Do you wish to know the truth?"
