Years later, Seraphine would continue to try to piece together the source of his madness, to ponder on that fateful, horrible day that changed her dear brother. When had all of it begun? What had set off the whole hellish mess? Where had it started? Could she have prevented it? She supposes it doesn't matter anymore. Those days are long gone now, and she's left with the hole he left behind and the threads from their past that were connected to his madness. Perhaps, while she's saving the Planet, maybe, she could save him as well. Or die trying.
