Falling through the web of the divine and failing to receive the Blessing of the Goddess “Origin”, Fena Alexandria’s life was slated to end before reaching her teens. She had simply one wish: to live peacefully with her mother.

Technological revolution rejuvenates the dying age of Shinobi and spearheading it all was “Origin’s Guardian Angel”, Melina Alexandria. Thrust into the position of patron saint of the village “Origin’s Peak”, the little time that Fena had left to spend with her mother was being stolen away by strangers.

Seeking to gain the strength she believes will allow her to take that time back, Fena decides to walk the path of the Shinobi.

The Goddess slumbers atop her tower. Her Divine Children, the custodians of humanity, have been dormant far too long. Join Fena as she takes her first steps into a rapidly developing world, making friends, foes and rivals, encountering prestigious clans searching for their Gods, new clans seeking to sever ties with the Divine and Shinobi hunting lunatics. All whilst she discovers herself along the way.

I'm about four chapters in and so far I'm loving the story. It delivers on its promise. I'm not usually the type to read fictions about shinobis or royal families but this one managed to take hold of my interest! The world feels emirsive and alive, the characters are described really well and feel authentic. The world building and back stories are top notch! Even the scenery even though it's described thoroughly it gives space for the imagination. Or maybe that's just me. I like the imperfect characters that still have room for growth and the slow progress of the story. Each scene is given its sweet time and the flow well. The author uses some really advanced wordings that give the story elegance! I like the author had given each character a different life and that they break from the trope of "perfect characters". Each one is unique and represents different traits! Chapters are a bit long but and some scenes go just a tad longer than needed but personally I have no issue with it as it gives the story opportunity to develop. I will definitely be waiting for the continuation and I hope to see more of this thrilling world! There is definitely a lot to be learned from it too in terms of world building and style.
