Description

Earth and all of humanity is gone. like completely and utterly blown to cosmic space dust gone. Only one human managed to survive by pure luck of the draw. Leon Castro was pretty much your average joe. White guy, 5’11, brown eyes, dirty blond hair, and weighing in at around 160lbs. He was a guy with dreams of making it big someday in the future but having no real plan as to how he was going to achieve it. But Leon did have one thing going for him. He’d found a niche on the internet making videos that had gotten him quite a big following in the past year or so. Enough so that he could use the ad revenue to continue making those videos and not have to work another job to keep his tiny little apartment in Norfolk Virginia. The content of his videos was quite easily summed up in just a few words… Theoretical Monster Biology. This was the guy who survived. Transported to another world, where magic, a vaguely game like System, and Dungeons are a thing.

(Warning) This is a first draft that has not been edited in any way. Directly from brain to word document. there is very little gore or sexual content early on but there will be. hence the tags.

A nice unique start, offering a reasoning for the too-OP MC, without making it overbearing or ridiculous, especially once the setting is more fully introduced.
    Just a potential super-god.
There's a lack of interaction at the beginning - no good friend or mentor, or really any connection other than a nice, absent family. It isn't grating or an issue, but the lack of social interaction in the dungeon school (yes) would be an issue for a non-reincarnated person.
Which is to say, mentor guidelines are a problem - that sort of high intensity training regime might produce an ill-adjusted individual. A single paragraph of how that's been considered and checked for would be a good thing.
Use of language is faultless, I didn't catch a single error, which is rare.

This is a story I believe to have a great deal of potential.
The characters are well thought out.
The story line thus far has been brilliant.
And the story teller is definately one I want to se more from.
Do I recomend you to read this?
    Yes, yes I do. . .

Father of Monsters is about an emotionally scarred individual transmigrated to a cultivator-esque universe where he gains tremendous potential through no effort on his part. Despite this, he isn't lazy and works hard to bring his potential to fruition. Over powered within his tier, he remains feeble before those who have already climbed the mountain. I'm still not certain what the story actually is, at this point, but it is a pleasant read regardless.
    Style
The prose is well done, like a friend would tell a story if they were any good at it.
    Story
The first thirty chapters, or so, are basically a drawn out training montage. It's enough to know I like the direction it's headed but not enough to have a clear idea of the destination.
The world building hints at a massive world to explore but, because Leon is still being chaperoned as he grows up, we have seen very little as yet.
    Grammar
Noticably in need of an editor but not to the degree that the errors detract from the story. Like walking along a garden trail and coming upon uneven cobbles, you may stumble on occasion but the view is worth it.
    Character
Unfortunately, this is where the story really leaves money on the table. There are really only four characters that have somewhat fleshed out personalities: Leon, his father, his mother, and his mentor. Many other characters could have used some screen time to really make the story shine; particularly his sister, Lilly, who, despite having lived in the same house for seven years, lacks even one line of dialog.
Seems more of a limitation of the story's need to progress the training montage than an inability on the author's part. Hopefully the next arc will improve this aspect.

Fun story. It has dinosaurs which is a plus! Progression is used as the storyline but the MC is seriously OP for his levels. The only thing holding him back is his team(harem).
Based on the story this should be a YA story and i would recommend it to a lot of youth I know EXCEPT for the really unnecessary sexual content. I find the sexual content does nothing but lower the story and characters so far.
The author also has a lot of 'breaks' (real life happens) compared to the number of chapters. The chapter lengths are one of the great things about this book.
I hope the author continues to post and cuts back on the Sexual content, though I understand with the tags for Sexual content and Traumatizing content. This story would just be way better without them.

The plot is well played out that is according to me. The world seems interesting enough to make me want to stay long enough to want to learn more about it. The characters have personality-ish but still one could easily get to relate to them. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Well, the title says it all.
The writing is pretty good by royalroad's standards but the premise is beyond wanky, god forbid the mc has to do ANYTHING to earn his powers or whatever, nah, the author takes care of that in the onset of the story to a ridiculous degree, any worse and it would've just been a "Defeat everyoe and get all the women" button.
