Fatefully Tragic Hero

In the final moments before death, seven strangers from different worlds are torn from their fates and thrust into Aetheria, a realm who's hero already lost and is on the edge of destruction. Summoned by a desperate ritual to raise their a fallen hero, instead these seven are thrust into this world in the only free city left, and awaken in forms not their own, some monstrous, some divine. Among them is Whisker, once a simple raccoon, now reincarnated as a human in a world he can barely comprehend.

Whisker a creature who never expected to be part of anything grand, yet now finds himself at the heart of a struggle to save a world overrun by darkness. With seven powerful factions vying for control of Aetheria, and malevolent forces manipulating fate itself, Whisker and his companions must rise to confront the looming threat, even as they grapple with their own uncertain roles and fates.
