Fated Warriors of the Gods

A Dark High Fantasy Novel

The gods have chosen their champions. The war for the mortal realm has begun.

Elter, a Saggarin outcast with forbidden sorcery, never sought to be a savior—he only wanted a life with Rolisha, the woman he loves. But when prophecy names him the Genieavesin’s chosen warrior, he is thrust into a brutal divine conflict. His sole hope of survival lies in claiming the Eriu rune, a power that could turn the tide of war. But the path is steeped in blood—ruthless Scorsorai, savage Coven Sisters, and the fractured disciples of the Dinehin will stop at nothing to see him fall.

As ambition and faith collide, alliances shatter, and darkness tightens its grip, Elter must fight not only for his destiny but for his life. In a world where champions are anointed by gods and sacrificed by mortals, the greatest battle may not be for victory—but simply to see another day.

Gritty, immersive, and unrelenting,Fated Warriors of the Godsblends mysticism, warfare, and moral ambiguity in a dark fantasy epic reminiscent of George R.R. Martin and Joe Abercrombie. If you crave ruthless intrigue, haunting prophecy, and a world where gods play with mortal lives, this is the tale for you.

Well written. The story immediately drew me into a vivid, immersive world. The epic scope, combined with the intricate details of the setting and characters, created an atmosphere that is both foreboding and addictive. The blend of introspective narrative and dynamic action scenes demonstrates a solid command of both pacing and tone.
The highlight character for me is Elter, sarcastic, humorous and foul-mouthed. I love self deprecating characters. Airsil, comes second for me. I relate to her struggles and her desparation to break free of her limited station in life.
This manuscript is robust, an atmospheric epic narrative. It effectively balances detailed world-building with character-driven moments and dynamic action. The strengths in the descriptive language and vivid imagery create an immersive reading experience. Overall, the writing is mature and engaging, with a strong sense of voice and purpose that promises a rich, expansive story ahead.
Yes, I’m liking it very much so far!

    Review for Chapter 3
    I'm enjoying this.
The descriptive language effectively transports the reader into the dark and foreboding atmosphere of the mine. The use of vivid metaphors, such as "Elter's rage burned hotter than his wounds," creates powerful and evocative imagery. Sensory details like "damp earth and something rotten clung to the air" engage the reader's senses and make the environment feel more real.
Elter, particularly, is a well-crafted character, and his personality, motivations, and backstory are skillfully integrated into the chapter. His emotions, ranging from rage to determination, are believable and relatable. The dialogue, although limited, feels genuine and revealing of his character.
The grammar and mechanics are solid, with few, if any, errors. The writing is polished, and the sentence structure is varied and effective, contributing to a smooth reading experience. It feels classic in style, but contemporary in flavor.
While the writing is generally descriptive and immersive, some sentences could be tightened up for better flow. A few sentences feel a bit long or wordy, which can disrupt the pacing. However, this is a minor issue, and the chapters, are overall, engaging and well-written.
The chapters are well written. They effectively build tension and create a sense of foreboding. The pacing is well-balanced, with a good mix of action, description, and character development. The author does a great job of creating a sense of unease and uncertainty, keeping the reader engaged and invested in the story.
The world-building in this book is subtle yet effective. The author drops hints about the larger world and its dangers, such as the goblins and the abandoned mine. The writing creates a sense of depth and history, making the world feel more real and immersive.
Overall, this is a strong chapter that effectively sets the stage for the story to come. The writing is descriptive and immersive, the characters are well-developed, and the pacing and tensi
