Fate by Committee [A Community-Polled Quest Series]

You are a Fate Sprite. Your duty is to observe the lives of those assigned to you until they meet an ultimate end. But their destiny is not yet written in stone. You have the power to change it, to alter their course, to lead them down a different path from the one you see laid out before them. Or you can leave them to their own choices, to face what the universe has already written.

Their Fate is in your hands.

Fate by Committee is a community-polled choose-your-own-adventure series that leaves the direction of the story and the fate of the character in the readers’ hands. At the end of every chapter, there will be a poll to decide how the Fate Sprite will influence the story. Polls will be up for a few days. There is no set release schedule, but new chapters will be written and released as soon as possible once the poll is concluded.

The series will have minimal tags at start, but more will be added as the readers influence the genres, themes, and general direction of the story. Scenes involving the Fate Sprite will be written in Second Person Present, but the main story will be written in Third Person Past

About to plunge to his death after saving his sister, Wyr is sent to a world far more advanced than his own. Saved by a body-modifying doctor and her human-eating robot dogs, he is able to recover from his life-threatening injuries and get a new limb in the process. With a world of new technology at his disposal, Wyr becomes a mercenary in Pinnacle City, striving to rise the ranks and amass the vast wealth needed to book a ride back home.
