The Ruin Wars tore across the universe, leaving galaxies in ruins.

A civilization of both science and magic that once spanned the stars themselves has shattered into a thousand different factions. Some attempt to retain what they can of lost glories, while others have descended into barbarism. It's a world full of pirates, warlords, and tin pot dictators little better than either.

Charged by their masters with a quest meant to bring hope, to search for an ancient lost symbol of order and peace, seven apprentice knights gather in the hopes of bringing light to a darkened universe. But the knights are young, inexperienced, and as divided among themselves as the world they seek to save. Fores gather against them even before they've begun, and even with all their training and powers the world may simply be too shattered now for hope to survive....
