Jackson Atticus Grim, mostly known as simply just Jack, is an amateur Witch in training. or well, he's trying to be.  His only problem is, he causes bad luck for anyone and everyone around him, and because of that, he's basically all alone. oh and he's been seeing people die in his dreams. so y'know. normal boy stuff. but he's determined to change his fate, even if he has to do it alone.

Spike Cinderfall is a dragonborn, one of the guardians of the supernatural world. there's only one problem: he's a bit TOO confident. so confident in fact, that he'd rather blow money on girls, parties, and beer, like any normal frat boy then train. However, there may be more depth to him than meets the eye, especially as he shoves his bisexuality in the closet so deep that it reaches the Christmas Decorations. but it's fine, fake it till ya make it, as they say.

Alexis Lilac Nightshade The First is a noble lady. at least that's what she's telling herself. on the inside? she's an absolute mess, actively trying to convince herself that her best friends death was absolutely, positively, 100% NOT her fault. even if she feels like it is.

these three were best friends once. and they will have to learn to be friends again, as they learn that maybe the death of the one person who united them was NOT intentional, and that somebody behind the scenes is plotting to rule both the supernatural and natural worlds.  and it's up to these three to stop them.
