I must confess, it has been a while since I found such a gem. The characters are fun to read and the comedy is also pretty good.
The story is pretty unique as it shows two différent timeline. The past and the present. And the fact that it centers on three main characters made it different from most generic stories out there.  I find Arthur more fun than his son Arlo who takes everything serious. It's probably because he is mature from a young age as the author stated.
The fights are pretty neat and clear. I could almost visualize the scenes, and I think that is one of the strongest point of this novel.
The grammar is nearly impeccable. While the author could improve his vocabulary, this fact didn't particularly affect my reading in any way. Not to say, I rarely found any misspelling or wrong use of words.
Not much is known about the characters in early chapters as the author pointed out in his synopsis, but I believe they would be slowly revealed as I read more.
Overall, this novel has a lot of potential and I definitely recommend. If you are having mixed feelings just read the first 20 or so chapters and decide whether to continue.
As for me, I've decided to follow the novel as I'm curious to see how far it goes and how the author would connect both timelines. I really hope he doesn't fumble, haha.

Honestly, I am just hooked on the start of the book and feel like it is one of those once-in-lifetime kind of journey with characters you love as you watch them. It has got what I look for in a book, the action, the story and even the comedy. Looking forward to what the author has in store for us with this one.

I am confused as to why this story has any low ratings. It’s well-written, funny at times, and the characters are pretty interesting.
The grammar, which is arguably the most important part of any story, is nearly perfect. If there are any mistakes, I either didn't notice them or they aren't big enough for me to care. You can tell the author truly makes sure that each chapter is as well edited as they can get it before they drop and I really appreciate that as a reader.
The fight scenes are also pretty good and descriptive. I myself struggle to write good fight scenes so I will be taking inspiration from the author. I’m not too into stories that switch POVs often, but this story does it in a way that isn’t confusing or intrusive to the experience. It’s a pretty good read and the chapters are short which is good for people like me who struggle to get through long chapters (I have a short attention span)
The characters are likable, and as I said earlier, they can be really funny. I'm pretty sure the humor is intentional in this case since it is tagged as a comedy.

A story with great potential. This is the first time I'm seeing a villain with a system instead of the mc.
Fights are great and clear to read. The story line is new and fresh...
Overall, this is a fun read. I highly recommend.
Don't let the reviews below dissuade you. Read the first 30-50 chaps yourself and decide whether to continue or not.

I am already hooked on this story. It has the greatest fights I have ever read in a novel, not to mention the comedy. While the writing is not the best and there might a few grammatical error here and there, overall it's a great read.
While I don't know much about the characters yet, so far they have been fun to read.
Also Arlo seems to be smart from the beginning even when he is still about 7; that was a bonus for me as I don't usually like stories where the main character is childish in the beginning and then later grows mature. That is just too trending nowadays.
    Definitely recommend.

I will point out some of the story's flaws. A little boy insults the king like "crazy" and then the king forgives him for some ridiculous reason. A boy raised on the streets insults a duke who has everything, and he does it with ease. It is another little boy who saves the Duke. If the main character wasn't only 7 years old, these would probably still be acceptable, but this situation is just absurd, but I'm sure the author corrected these mistakes in the future chapters and wrote a more regular story. I believe the story has good potential and I just think the grammar needs a little more attention.

Overall, the story is entertaining and kept me interested in what happens next.
The story engages with the different viewpoints, helping paint the characters and what they are going through. The characters could benefit from a little more development to make them hit harder with their struggles. The shorter chapter length does feel a bit short reading-wise, but it doesn't take away from the story. The fight scenes are well-written, engaging and well-thought-out.
Overall, I am interested in seeing how Arlo and Authur fare the most. I will be continuing to read new chapters.

I like the potential this story has but it seriously seems a bit unrealistic at some points. For example, insulting a king was something unthinking back when we had them before human rights were so wildly spread as it could end up leading to death or a a lengthy imprisonment even as a person with stature. Anyways it happened and basically nothing came of it afterwards.
The story has some potential, as well as the characters but after giving it a try after clicking on a add that lead to the first chapter instead of the home page (on a site where history can't be deleted, I think that shouldn't be allowed personally), I realized it's not really good or bad, just somewhere in the middle in my opinion, definitely a novel that might be worth checking out though because I can see its strong point that might make someone love it in its unique perspective it offers.

    Style
Splitting the story into 1-line sentences is an interesting choice, but it doesn't feel like you've "done" anything with it. The traditional style of paragraphs helps group ideas, actions, and thoughts into chunks that flow into each other, and breaking from this pattern can help elevate or highlight specific points of tension, unusual actions, and jar the reader, adding to their enjoyment. This style of every sentence having its own line doesn't do that or make the most of space, and it makes reading dialogue very confusing and difficult.
    Grammar
Nothing wrong with your grammar. The mistakes that are present are minor and inconsequential, though your vocabulary feels limited at times. Reading that a character is screaming in their mind for the third time that chapter/page makes the action feel stale and melodramatic, but that's a critique for the story, not your grammar.
    Story
As I said above, much of the action feels repetitive verb-wise and sometimes melodramatic, with intensely emotional language being used to describe tiny actions. The stakes feel unclear, and I am uncomfortable with how explicitly young the woman is, and how cavalier the other (presumably older) characters are about sexualizing her and slapping her butt. Furthermore, she is not named for until chapter 6, but her being central to the opening plot makes for a really awkward read that flips from third to first person in a jarring, confusing way.
    Character
Every piece of characterization is told, not shown. "Show, don't tell" is fine and good and overused as a platitude to the point that it barely has any meaning anymore. Sometimes its better to tell, rather than show. Sometimes it can be used as setup for subversion. This story needs a lot more showing, and far less telling. The only things I learned about Rita and Arthur were either said out loud or explicitly said in the prose. I didn't learn that Arthur was a powerful magic user, I was told he was. Because of how few characters are named

I think that's the reason why the story is nice, be not much reviews, title should never tell what is the story about, because you can get a idea and even if it's good, people prefer reading something they don't know what's going to happen next, i clicled on a ad so I came here, but the title just lower your motivation or something that deals with the reason to start reading a new story, so try to change it for something more abstractal that generate more interest, of course that's just my opinion: you are the writer
