Faerie Forensics

When the Queen of the faeries asks Hailey O’Malley to look into Fae-related deaths amongst the humans, she has no choice but to agree. Of course, that doesn’t mean she’s happy about it. Being half-Fae herself hasn’t given Hailey anything but stress, and now a body’s turned up in New Orleans with supernatural written all over it. Hailey realizes there’s something different about this case when Mab sends a lackey to keep tabs on her. Despite it all, she’s made up her mind to defy all odds and solve the strangest case she’s ever seen without any magical abilities.

Author note: I made the mistake of joining Royal Road right when a contest was happening. The prompt gave me an idea for a story, and now here I am trying to keep up with deadlines.
