At the start of the 21st century the world was plagued by anomalies, dead animals sprouting human limbs and returning to life, abominations with human features appearing out of nowhere and attacking everything alive, and lastly an incurable disease that turns people into supernatural monsters.

Without any effective solutions the world eventually fell apart and those who remained struggled to make sense of it all.
