    This is a temporary review as the story doesn't have enough chapters yet. If we go from the first book in this series though I think it is fair to say that there is a large chance that this will be good.
    For anyone not familiar with the first volume: if you like dark, gritty fantasy with an evil main character and lots of violence and humor this series will be right up your alley.

    This is one of the better fantasy satire/deconstruction fiction I've read. This is sayting something, because that's generally very not my thing. That's not saying much, because I haven't read alot of said genre and probably missed alot of the better ones.
    What I can say is that I've found "Evil overlord" better than, say, Pratchett or OVDT by Webb, who is one of my favorite authors ever.
    It saddens me that McClung (NotGodot) is a very underrated author.
