Great story so far. Intriguing world building.
Single layer boring characters and their simple dramas are having their layers revealed as the characters flush out into much more enjoyable reads. Either by design or author writing growth. Either way the teenage drama and angst thankfully seems to be disappearing as the chapters progress.

This is a story about a ugly dude who in a drunken rage punch's a "class stone" thing that most people assume as suicide. But the mc is loved by misfortune and gets a curse class and the class, system and lore so far is amazing it starts worse then it is on purpose as it adds to the misfortune feeling. Please give it a try and keep up the great work author!!!

It's a fantastic story with great writing. I only wish there was more exposition and world building but there's enough that it makes sense.
the only thing I could actually critique is the second chap and his deal with having no luck with ladies.
it needs fifty words so here

I don't write many reviews and I have nothing in particular to say. I love this story and the lack of updates is killing me. I want the author to know that he or she has fans that love her work very much and that we're waiting for you to finish your book. That's all.

Most of the time when I start a new story, I quickly grow a bit apathetic and keep reading out of a sense of devotion and curiosity about the story. Not so with this story. I'm really enjoying it and looking forward to what comes next!
    Plus three words.

Some stories have believable characters.  Some have interesting systems of magic.  Some are set in interesting worlds.  Most stories have passable grammar, but only some have prose that flows, as you slip from on sentance to the next until - would you look at that, you've reached the latest chapter!
But few stories have all those things, and I think generally this one does.  I like the main character.  He feels real, and hasn't become jaded by having a shitty life, even if as you can clearly see how it has shaped him.  I like how the "system" in this book feels like a part of the world, not some weird artefact from a JRPG, tacked onto a fantasy world for no discernable reason.  I like the way the gods are involved in events, and that the events that happen in the world are a result of its history, which we gradually uncover.  And the writing was good enough that I barely noticed I was reading.
I held off on reading this book for a bit, unsure due to the synnopsis and other reviews.  That was a mistake - don't make the same one, and give the first few chapters a try.

Chapter 44 was where it all started coming together for me. The story is decent to okay until then with some nice ideas, but you start to see the something awesome developing at that point that makes me genuinely excited for all that lays in store.
The main character (and all the side characters honestly) are well developed and complex, people that seem like they are going to be tropes end up exceeding your expectations. Just well written in general.

    I liked it
Cinderella but a guy and there is a magic academy is my pitch to get people to read it . its nicer seeing the guy getting a break in life as someone who has a negative body image I feel its healthy to work on self image and self esteem in my opinion.

So this is really good. RoyalRoad quality seems to be improving every year. Grammar is fine. I knew based on the synopsis this would either be terrible or an awesome addition to RoyalRoad--thankfully it's the latter. MC is rational but also not a robot. The side characters all have a lot of personality and are both memorable and distinct (Angelina all the way).
