Description

Djaer is a lonely outsider from a species of interstellar tyrants, who finally has his dream job: a waste transport mission expected to take thousands of years, with nobody to bother him, and a small group of delicious humans to subjugate and ultimately consume.

He was just settling in to relax for what felt like the first time in his life, when he finds out W.A.S.T.E. Unincorporated has saddled him with an assistant. It mostly seems like she only exists to annoy him, but it turns out there's more to her than meets the eye.

Join an ensemble cast of characters in exploring a universe in which life is nasty, brutish and all-too-long, as they uncover the truth of who really makes the galaxy tick, and try to do something about it.

This is an interesting little piece, with a rather unusal format. Using several writers like this can be fun, but it does make for some feeling of inconsistancy and of course the author's voice changes as the writers do to some extent, but not so much as to be annoying. I'll keep reading to see where it's going. I think there are some real talents in there.

Multiple authors have gotten together to create an improvisational space opera spanning the entire galaxy.  So far in nine chapters nobody has gotten eaten, the worms go in and the worms go out, and Djaer is quite successfully asleep.
Style: Whimsical and open.  Each author develops upon the other's idea apparently without knowing where they were going, so of course it doesn't go that way.
Story:  It is improvisational, so there is no planned end.   Decent attempts are made to keep it coherent.
Grammar: All grammar is correct and there are no misspellings.
Characters:  All characters are given their due, even the worms!
