There have been a lot of edits since the reviews currently on the story were left. These edits include but are not limited to changing the dialogue to feel more military, and changing some of the actions in the story to be less informal.

What not to expect:There will be no sexual content or harem.

The military structure in the Terran Empire isnotbased on our modern world. It is fiction and therefore does not follow the customs of the US military. Furthermore, this is not a story within the future of our universe. Earth does not exist in this story.

The contents warnings are there to give me room to write and might not be included. The current content warnings that are included in the story are gore and profanity.

If you have suggestions, then I'm glad to hear them!

It's got a lot of creativity and has hinted at a lot of good world building.  The system being developed for the litrpg aspect is interesting and I like the future tech.  The idea of a terminal that has massive multifunctionality and is probably connected to a nanobot cloud in the body for monitoring purposes has a lot of interesting implications.

What can I say, I love it! I find the magic very interesting and enjoy how the MC uses it! I also really enjoy his cool demeanor that's steady throughout pretty much whatever happens. I'm also a huge fan of Ice magic and all that jazz, so you've got me there! I do find it funny (not in a bad way, I enjoy it quite a bit actually) that it's somewhat similar to Rise of the Winter Wolf (I think that's the name, I may have gotten it wrong) in how you have the guy Mc with ice magic that essentially adopts a younger girl that's kind if copying him in some way :). All in all five stars!

Fire and warmth, gone, leaving all in a dreary fuss.
Radiation filled shards, flying through the storm,
Turning creatures into monsters, with a deadly form.

A frozen apocalypse, that would change everything,
The Eternal Winter, a storm of great might,
A mutation that put Alex in the spotlight.

Fighting for his survival, through it all.

As per usual wolfshine creates a new world populated by interesting character arcs with enough hidden to get you turning those pages as quickly as possible.  Would highly recommend this story and authors other stories to anyone looking for good entertainment. No sec just good fun with strong evolving characters

It gives me Crysis vibe which I love wholeheartedly.
This is unique story through and through, pulling you into a world covered cold and snow. Mutated monster are roaming around, hunting everything. In the coldness, your body heat will attract more monters.
I totally recommend it. Mechanic and biotic are in one body giving a novel feeling amongst the others.

Definitely give this story a try, I am thoroughly enjoying it!
The authors spin on the Litrpg system is unique and creative, looking forward to seeing how it develops as the story progresses.
Alexander is an enjoyable MC, no complaints there. I can wait to see him grow in power, as well as a person, as he continues on his path.
Author, I don't know how you do it, but I get hooked on every story you write, keep it up
*Note: This is my first ever review

okay lit rpg in ice hell. it hasnt hit any cliches yet probably would get a 5 from me but after the science explinations the mc say somthing almost like second guessing the story along the lines of "It doesn’t really make much sense." in context its a bit better but overall great concept well exicuted. give it a glance over of at least the first 3 chapters and i think most people would be hooked
could use more boxes =) i like boxes

So far I've read it to the end as of January 8th 2023 and it has been a very enjoyable book a little less polished in some ways of background requires you to make some assumptions but overall it's been a very excellent apocalyptic book.
I favored it and followed it and in short plan to enjoy it!

It's a good snowy military end of the world. Characters are decent enough, even if some of the character interactions are wildly wrong. Setting is okay but not really "illustrative", you enter a control room, you make your way down a hallway staring at claw marks on the wall...that's about average on the room descriptions.
Each chapter is also barely one complete scene long.
But all of that is par for the course with this author.
I would still recommend reading it because the author knows how to keep things interesting, and it has all the parts for a good end of the wotld survival story. Just maybe wait for ten or fifteen chapters to buildup before you pick it back up to continue reading.

Alright, first off, I don't think this story is awful or anything.  I've read as far as I care to, but unlike a lot of stories, I'm not stopping becuase of any singular horrible decision, it's just that I don't want to keep going.  This review is personal to me, not because I think the story is horrid in some way.
That said, there's a couple problems that quickly turned me off of this one.  And it pretty much comes down to a difference in what we're told is happening, versus what we're shown is happening.
The main character is a soldier, working with other soldiers.  Nominally they are professionals, but that just isn't how any of the characters actually act.  They come across more feeling like high school students than trained fighters.  And I know the synopsis says that their military shouldn't be graded against a modern military force, but like... it doesn't feel like a futuristic military force either.  Something is out of alignment here.
The same thing goes for the tech level.  Spaceships appear to be wholly detached from normal physics, words like 'cybernetics' are used to explain things with no explanation beyond just the word itself, and the diagetic use of a system feels, again, very out of place for a story about a soldier.
Now, I do want to give credit to the cool idea for the apocalypse scenario.  Often times these sorts of end-of-normalcy-event stories just focus on monsters, but this one really goes all in on the threat of the weather as well.  Cold and winter itself being something that spreads like an infection, figuratively and literally, is a neat image.  I think that's a great start to a story.  And I wanted to take a minute to appreciate that.
Overall, not a story I can see myself reading more of or enjoying, but the author clearly has some ideas they want to use.
