The author clearly has a plan for what they're writing, and they've managed to make the dead-eyed emotional husk that is their protagonist engaging despite that handicap.
As far as criticism, I do think that the prose could be tightened up in some places, and the author could stand to add more moments where the narrative steps outside of the protagonist's numbed perspective - the moments where they do are quite good, and might help balance things for readers who aren't as amenable to a main character with this amount of emotional deadening.
I wouldn't say that it's the best xianxia story I've found on the internet, but it has a lot of potential, especially with how it makes use of its structural ideas like 'intents'.
