Esoteric Wizard

Lynn travels to a magical world reminiscent of medieval Europe, where magic can affect and control elementary particles, allowing for a scientific theory to be a magical formula. In this world, spellcasters, who are essentially scientists, struggle to uncover the truth about their world while facing opposition from the Holy See. The arrival of Lynn sparks an otherworldly version of the Renaissance.

While observing the elemental world, Lynn notices an elemental matter being absorbed and expelled within his body in a perpetual cycle and initially assumes it is due to magic. However, upon further examination, Lynn realizes the phenomenon is actually caused by his own respiration and is simply oxygen. Lynn had not recognized this initially because he had been sensing the elements through his spiritual power and had not considered the possibility that it could be oxygen due to the slightly different proportion of chemical elements in the air of this world compared to his previous life. This realization made him take a second look at the whole process of capturing elements to create a water flow.

What is water? It is an inorganic compound composed of two chemical elements, hydrogen and oxygen!

So he had not been employing magic just now, but rather conducting a chemistry experiment?

Are wizards actually just a group of chemists?
