As a child, Noah Armstrong had his own dreams of greatness. But having failed to achieve anything significant for all of his life, he believes himself to be an average guy, destined to lead a normal life.

Then he was called into another world.

The circumstances of his new life urge him to become stronger, so he starts to train, his old dreams rekindled by magic. But despite the universe granting him a strong gift, when it came time to measure his strength against other mages, he ends up being barely above average.
