Escape Pod

The space-faring world is ravaged by war. Small pockets of peace are found throughout the galaxy. Slivers of hope are all but small tinder that get snuffed out by the greater powers at be contempt for things being just like they always have been.

Earth was a very small slice of the pie and has been ravaged and siphoned by a world engine. Left barren without resources or its inhabitants. The ones responsible have orchestrated events so that they look like the saviors of what is left of humanity. Turning every captured human into a life of servitude in thanks for their salvation.

Jace is one of these survivors not killed off during the waves of attacks. He wakes up in a vat chamber similar to millions of others being awakened to a life of servitude.
