Eremento no Sekai - Synopsis

In the world of Eremento no Sekai, almost unimaginable antiquity was created by the primordial forces of the elements. It is home to hundreds of nations, each representing a culture unique and different from others, harnessed and bound together through a dominant elemental force: blazing fire empires, floating kingdoms of wind, thunder-scarred wastelands, frozen dominions of ice. Still, below this apparently well-adjusted world lies an invisible moving force that endangers the collapse of everything around.

Kaminari Arashi is a sixteen-year-old surviving lightning manipulator, a wandering outcast in search of the truth behind the destruction of his homeland, Tenku no Kuni, or Sky Country. Wracked with guilt and unable to fully control his volatile powers, he travels the elemental nations in search of answers, justice, and redemption.

When Kaminari arrives in Sorakaze (Sky Wind), a kingdom of floating islands ruled by an oppressive aristocracy, he meets Fujin Akari, a young rebel air manipulator fighting against tyranny. Together, they uncover a conspiracy surrounding an ancient relic—the Shinpu no Yumi (Bow of the Divine Wind)—a weapon that may be linked to the fall of Kaminari’s homeland.

With the war brewing, along with a number of secrets coming to the fore, the battle that the two are entering is much bigger than themselves. The balance crumbles as a long-sealed, forgotten force suddenly stirs.

By saving the world, Kaminari needs more than mastering Lightning; he will have to go on to demystify the secrets of Eremento no Sekai before the storm consumes everything.
