EON: THE ASCENSION OF THE SNOW EMPEROR (PROGRESSION/LITRPG)

Description

This story is about a villain, as the TAG and WARNING indicate. Not a pure evil villain, but a villain with extremely dubious morals. This story is not for you if you want an MC who is always kind and righteous. If you want a gray character with a shaky moral compass... You are in the right place.

***

As his human life came to an end, he was reincarnated as the seventh child of an interdimensional conqueror who had conquered countless worlds, slaughtered countless people, and slain thousands of gods.

Reincarnated as an entity with no real form, shaped into something he was never... a fledgling conqueror. With nothing left within him but the desire to do what he was born to do, what his father ordered him to do, and the faintest recollection of his former life that he can no longer recognize.

A human who has been stripped of what makes him human.

Named after the never-ending passage of time, with a personality as cold and harsh as a raging snowstorm.

Eon's arrival will shake the world of Giera.

As mentioned above, the update schedule is quick. Like, 20 chapters in 2 days type of quick. And the quality is good too. The start might seem slow, but he really starts levelling at around chapter 20. I'm not sure when this rapid release rate will slow down, but you can be sure that there will be plenty to read in the near future.

From a crystal ball to the snow emperor, this is classic and perfect progression. I was already hooked, seeing our MC fight for his life in battles for survival.
There's almost no dialogue in the early chapters, but that's a good thing for such a story start. This reminds me of salvos and To Your Eternity, so it's a very promising start. Has the chance to become one of the top novels on this website.
    Style:
Deep intricate worldbuilding of the ecosystem explains the 'rule of the forest'. It's intriguing to see the complex interactions between predator and prey without humans, as well as their societal structure.
The writing style explains all of this really well without getting boring. Only the essentials are explained, which immediately become relevant to our MC in battles or hunts.
Paragraphs are short and concise, great to read on mobile.
    Story:
I've read up to ch11. The story so far is mostly about the complex ecosystem i mentioned above, which is extremely interesting and makes for a plot on its own. It's like watching an intriguing BBC wildlife documentary, except with front row seats to the brutal battles for survival.
    Grammar:
Not native english speaker, so 5/5.
    Character:
While it felt a bit short, there was a small emotional aspect to the MC in the pre reincarnation phase, but i felt like it was not dwelled on more for a good emotional slap to really hook the reader in and get him invested in the MC.
Otherwise, there's not much to grade character on - the story premise doesnt allow for that.
    Overall:
Great litrpg with the potential to become one of the greats. With more visibility this will really shoot up.

Style: I've not seen a LitRPG go as hard on the numbers as this does, which makes it feel very methodical. I prefer my LitRPGs to be a lot less details, in the actual numbers department, but it is unique and I imagine it would appeal greatly to a lot of people.
The fights. I love fights, and I love the chreography here for them. First off, the precision of the numbers give the fights a unique feel. It feels even more game-like than a VRMMO. The strategies taken are well reasoned, and the results of actions are standardized. It makes for fights that really go into on the blow for blow.
Story: The world is described in detail, the habits and the survival strategies of different species are specified, creating a diverse and vivid biomes.
It starts off with a lot of survival, not an uncommon choice for a reincarnation LitRPG, specially a non-human one. In this case, however, we do get to see from the beginning more of a look behind the scenes, what the real big players are doing, as opposed to most other stories of this type.
Grammar: Grammar is good, very few mistakes.
Character: Yeah, so the main character's personality has been deliberately made shallow. I prefer more vibrant characters myself, but this story aims to depict a different sort of character, with an interesting alteration. We know from the getgo that he is not what he seems; he is not what he thinks he is. And it's all but certain that he'll develop into something more, a lot more; much of Eon's depth is hidden, it simmers under the surface.
Overall: I recommend this story for anyone looking for a LitRPG that does not skip any of the juicy details.

    Overall
This is an otherworldly LITRPG story with a grand worldview. The author has constructed the system very well.
    Story
The main character is reborn as the seventh son of a Word Lord, a crystal. Then transported to another world by his father. His mission is to rule that world.
    Style
A large amount of data brings the ultimate LITRPG experience. Does the author seem to need to add some tables? That seems more immersive. Just a personal opinion.
    Grammar
Almost error-free and reads smoothly. The free Grammarly can make your grammar perfect.
    Characters
So far, I haven't seen any distinctive features of the MC. The author may need to work on it a bit.
    Suggestions
This is a great story, but I think you need to rethink the cover and title. When I first saw the cover, it was a... Slime? Then I saw the title, SNOW EMPEROR. Does that have anything to do with slime in a forest? This may be confusing to new readers. You may need to bring out the features of your story. For example, the main character is reborn for a crystal. Or the protagonist could take the form of something he killed. The above is only a personal opinion.
Keep up the good work. I will continue to keep an eye on this story.

This story follows Eon, a former human who has been sent to the world of Giera for the express purpose of conquoring it. The challenge comes when he is given no tools to achieve it, not even a body with which to conquor. Eventually, a hapless slug finds its way into Eon's reach and finally he lands a kill. He assumes the form of the slug and the story really starts going from there. Eon attempts to battle more and more bugs in attempt to rise above his station, but he often finds more than he bargained for.
    Style:
The story follows pretty srandard litrpg formatting which is easy to follow and read. The upload schedule seems to be lightning quick which is great for readers but I hope the author doesn't burn themselves out.
    Story:
Honestly my favorite part is the seed of this story. I am a huge sucker for bugs and I absolutely love to see fights and drama around them. It's such a cool concept to see a story where the main character has to earn literally everything, including his mobility.
    Grammar:
I actually found few to no actual grammar mistakes in the work. However, I still believe the story could use a second draft. While technically not incorrect to do, the usage of the same word several times in a single sentence can be jarring and happens a lot in this work.
    Character:
So far as I've read, the only character we've meaningfully met is Eon himself. He's smart, determined and has an unbreakable spirit. It can be hard to characterize a slug but the author largely manages it. I do wish, however, that we could spend more time in Eon's head, learning about his feelings and motivations outside of battle.

I'll be honest, this story is worth reading. I binged all the way to chapter 67 in one sitting, and I still want more.
The progression is steady, with the statistics and damage making sense.
The side characters so far are very lifelike and well written.
I love the style of the fights, and they are very pleasant to read.
The grammar is great, and It seems pretty well edited.
The constant levels, and buildup is satisfying. The level up system is simple, and the mc games it to a certain extent.
Just one humanoid interaction so far, if you can even call it that.
    Warning, big spoiler
The mc is cold but not cruel(from what I can tell). He kills for the sake of getting stronger.
Currently Eon has specialized so that he has ultra high survivability along with healing. That's not even going along with his 3 layered attack which is insanely powerful. Everything pretty much scales of off strength, which he is completely specialized in. I'm not even going to go into his aoe attacks.
If anyone could actually identify him(which they can't), then they would just accept death.
This character satisfies a certain craving for a powerful monster mc.
Now we get to see the world reacts to a monster that is has overwhelming strength, and is aiming for world domination.
The only part I'm unsure about is why they send such an low level party to check out what killed all the high leveled monsters.
    Great overall
I would definitely recommend if you like monster progressions.
The updates have been rapid which is great, but please don't burn yourself out Onic.

Story: A story of survival and battle of wildlife with a system. The world of wildlife is told and introduced to you in a way that gets you hooked and interested. There are battles that are exciting and leave you on the edge of your seat reading. There is also the other story of the MC and his forgotten past.
Style: Well plotted out and invests you in world building. The style gives you enough information to really see and experience everything along with the MC. This information is also just the right amount, so that you don't get overloaded. During combat it also works well as you get an amazing view of exactly what is happening.
Grammar: Great, with no problems whatsoever.
Character: It is a MC that's entire purpose is told to you. He is emotionless and has only one goal for the early chapters. This doesn't allow you to see what the MC is really about, but the beginning of the story doesn't need you to.
Overall: A great read if you like amazing world building that will keep you entertained and interested. A LitRPG system that is solid and works well. Finally, exciting battle scenes that will keep you interested and entertained.

THE ASCENSION OF THE SNOW EMPEROR follows the story of a young man who, stripped of his emotions and memories, is reincarnated as the seventh child of an interdimensional conqueror.  Will he survive?  Will he remember?  What happens when he does?
Style:  The perspective is consistent and smooth.  The pace is solid and exciting.  No complains.
Story:  This is a fleshed out fantasy litrpg with solid and well-defined rules.  The action also is great and unceasing (never have I read a more thrilling fight between two slugs).  However, what really drives the narratives are the unstated questions evoked by the premise.  Will the protagonist recover his memories and humanity?  Will he survive the inevitable confrontation with his "father" and "siblings" when he does?
Grammar:  Excellent.  My need to edit (for grammar reason) went mostly unfulfilled.
Character:  This is a tough one.  The early chapters centers entirely around a protagonist devoid of emotions (and therefore personality), slugs, and ants.  I'm left to judge the cast entirely on the glimpses of Eon's prior family and his new one.  As such, I have made the executive decision to extend the benefit of the doubt until I read further.  5/5
Conclusion:  I recommend THE ASCENSION OF THE SNOW EMPEROR on the strength of the premise and the action, both of which are first rate.   It's joy to watch the protagonist struggle through the unforgiving rules of this litrpg world.  It's a gripping read.

A boy dies. An intergalactic tyrant steals his soul, memories, and emotions, then stuffs him into a shapeshifting monster on a planet with level progression. Now the thing known as Eon must fight, grow, and conquer.
STYLE: The descriptions are solid. The dialogue is a little clunky, but not enough to matter. The action is well choreographed. The author has an unfortunate tendency to repeat phrases over and over again, and repeat descriptions unnecessarily, sometimes within a couple of paragraphs. That said, it's well paced, easy to read, and easy to understand what's happening.
STORY: The worldbuilding and system elements work well. The MC is dumped into a harsh and deadly world, weak and alone. He is forced to struggle, to fight smart, and to find ways to abuse the system. It's compelling enough I read fifteen chapters without noticing.
CHARACTERS: The Space Tyrant and his offspring could be characterized a little better. They seem more like plot devices than people. The MC is done very well. starting with barely anything resembling a mind and slowly growing more cunning as he progresses. You also get little hints of extra depth that might be coming from memories that were (mostly) lost, and see traces of his gamer mentality in how he interacts with the world.
GRAMMAR: I didn't notice any mistakes.
OVERALL: This is a fun story with a non-human (so far) protaganist. It could use a little polish in a few places, but it's solid, well thought out, and worth your time.

Story: Eon, starting as nothing more than a crystal, has to take the form of things he kills until he's completed his "father's" vision, take over the world!
The story is pretty interesting and gives off a very Pikmin-esque view of the dangers of the forest during these initial chapters. The circumstances don't do the MC any favors, either. It's tough out there for a slug.
Style: Done in third person, I feel like the writer's doing a bang up job in making sure we get a clear picture of Eon and his environment. My only nitpick is using the same words in a sentence or paragraph in close proximity.
    Grammar: Minor hiccups, nothing egregious.
Characters: This is the only part that falls flat for me. I can see the MC's personality, and I can empathize with it, but these early chapters I've read are mostly"How am I going to survive" which leads to a very one track mind. I am interested in seeing Eon evolve that mindset into a proper emperor, however, and plan to keep track of his progress after this!
All in all, Eon: The Ascension of the Snow Emperor is a fun progression LitRPG with a lot of promise. When you start in a position where being a mollusk is your first option, there's nowhere to go but up!
