Description

What would happen if you put 150 students together in a school-like system and had them compete in various challenges to earn points to try and become number one? The outcome has been pretty bland for the past few years at Astral Academy, and the results are not what the higher-ups who run it want, until now. New students have enrolled and will change everything. New faces with clashing personalities will compete against each other to get the reward that first place offers. Five different classes with thirty different students in each class. Who will come out on top? Malakai, who came from London to compete in this academy? Maria, the daughter of a famous actress? Alexander, who has got everything he has ever wanted? Ryan, who can get anything he wants? Isabella, who has never had to try for anything she's done. Dillon, who wants everything everyone else has? Adam, who wants to prove a point? Too many names but only one top spot. Will they be entertaining?

I like this so far. The characters, the plot and the writing style.
I like how it’s not written in one characters POV and it narrates over all the characters. But I do wish some parts are written in some characters POV from time to time. To switch it up and see how they feel.
The cast is really enjoyable at the moment. How the characters interact with each other and the different personalities are great. I’m sure it’s only the start as well as there are 5 different classes and looking at the cover art. I’m still deciding my favourite character but right now Malakai is hilarious. I do want to see more of characters from the lower classes, but I’m sure that comes in at later chapters.
The plot is simple but it works really well with the characters. I’m excited to see what the challenges are going to be.
I’ve seen that you add art aswell, and I love that I can see what the characters look like. The art looks good and I like how its different everytime.
one critic, is that I hope that the chapters are longer. I’m sure the length is good for someone to find right now and binge but reading every drop I do hope for longer ones. But that’s just my preference, some people might like shorter chapters like this.
Overall it looks good so far, I’m hoping this gets updated regularly. I’m sure things will get better and escalate but right now I’m liking the slice of life school genre right now. Seeing and introducing all the characters is a good start, I’m sure I’ll come to love these characters more seeing their journey and experiences.
