This is absolutely a must read for anyone who likes the fantasy/romance genre.
This story has a charm I couldn't find anywhere else. Set in a world of sword and magic, the MC decides to leave everything behind and makes many enemies for a girl he just met. Rash decision much?!
Even then, everything falls into place as the story progress. Though some actions of our protagonists may seem questionable at times, the author always manages to wrap it up nicely and keep a good tension throughout the chapters.
After finishing the first volume, I can say that I'm quite pleased with the answers given by the author so far! It all seems to fit well with the world and magic system that was built.
One of the forte of this story is without a doubt the dialogue between the characters. It is one of the trademark of this author that he has shown in his other work (The Devil's Spice - which is not all on RR). Witty comments after another, the characters never miss a beat and keep you entertained and longing for more.
As for the MC, he should probably be included in the smart and crafty kind. But that doesn't mean he's powerless! His usage of magic is really special and the way magic works in this world make it really interesting and full of possibilities, which the author probably won't miss!
The style and grammar is great as well and I encourage anyone to give this great story a try!
Finally, for the author. I hope that the story keeps the adventure going for a while. Too often those kind of stories cut the adventure short at some point due to various reasons and never really go back. From what I read so far, it doesn't seem like it'll stop anytime soon, but who knows what's in store for us in the future?
    Thank for read.

One of the best written novels on this website. This is a character driven story and is carried by character interaction and character development. The story could be about finding the ultimate cupcake and I would still read it because of how well it's written.
Style: The style is perfect, not once did I have to re-read a sentence because it didn't make sense or seemed awkward. It's easy to be compeltely immersed when reading this.
Grammar: I did not notice any mistakes while reading.
Story: The story is surprisingly good. You would think that someone throwing away everything he had to be with someone he just met makes absolutely no sense. However, our main character is abnormal and his ability is what drove him to act in such an insane manner. Everything is explained, there are no plot holes and all the characters act in a believable manner despite what you may think at first glance.
Morkin complains about how what they have is not love. Of course it's not love, it's explained to you why he acts the way he did and love had nothing to do with it. You won't understand the story by skimming and jumping to conclusions.
Then he complains about the abuse of the main character. The abuse makes complete sense if you look at the situation from her perspective. She absolutely hates mages. She's hated them all her life and almost everything wrong with her life can be blamed on the mages. This(main character) mage she just met is basically stalking her, except he's not. He's following her everywhere and she can't kill him or get rid of him because he saved her life. It's not until he proves that he's different from all the mages she hates that she starts treating him differently.
Characters: The best part about this entire novel. The characters are unique and their interaction is hilarious. I can't say too much without spoiling and just by reading the first five chapters you should be able to see it for yourself.
TLDR: Don't listen to morkin, he's only read 3 chapters. "First

Really well done story. Simple as that. Don't be fooled by the cover, it isn't another cliche anime story. It has influences from it, sure, but thats it

Really well written. I'm actually invested in this story and care about its characters, which I can't say for countless other stories on this site. The quality of this story is like that of Mother of Learning or Change: New World. The only downside is I finished reading all the chapters! And it is at a sort of cliffhanger! I eagerly anticipate the next chapter. I want my fix!

First of all i've read only 3 charapter of this story, and for a very simple reason. I hate that bi**h, Hilde.Have you ever read a novel in which some characters get used by someone they cared about and you get frustrated waiting for the climax where the villain gets what they deserved? This novel doesn't reach that climax.
What i've seen in this story is more or less the mc saving Hilda's life, becaming a fugitive for Hilda, getting used by Hilda, getting abused by Hilda, never being thanked by Hilda. essentialy he is her dog, just because he has a crush on her. And even if it's supposed to be love it doesn't feel like it, he just sees her, feel her pride and determination and thinks "I'm gonna trow away my life for this prisoner, enemy of my country, that for all i know could be a serial killer". And i know his life was supposed to be miserable, but even this misery feels forced to me, simply because the author doesn't give an explanation over why the mc hides his powers, at least not in the initial charapters.
To tell the truth the novel isn't bad, the style is good, the grammar is good, the magic system is good, Every thing is good, even the characters seem to have a good depth (except the mc). It's more or less a thing about your preferences. Do you like when your mc are decisive or have a strong character in general? stay away. If you like femdom or are a M congratulation, you found heaven.
