- derekBRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Very different to what I am used to reading, which makes it interesting. The quirks of the protagonist, his counting out the distance suggest perhaps he is on the autistic spectrum, whatever, he's an interesting character.
On the writing, there is a lot of repetition - in the first paragraph, the word "still", repeated, is superfluous, but curiously, the repetition later on seemed to fit the hypnotic mood.
