Description

After dying to a nuclear reactor accidentally blowing up on itself and spending time in an empty void for an eternity, a young heir to an energy focused company wakes up to a new world that he knows almost nothing about. With nothing on his person but the clothes on his back and a System that tells him he is now a mage, he gets out of the forest he found himself waking up in and finds interest in taking care of a farm and live in peace inside a village.

Though even with his mundane goals, his past seems to want nothing but to catch up to him. And with his expertise and knowledge in the production of electricity and a very special mage class, he might just introduce a fantasy world to the wonders of energy and technology.

This is my take on the whole "Powerful being retires as a farmer" genre on RR, 1500 word chapters are gonna start releasing once every day from Monday to Friday PST or just standard ASEAN common time.

What to expect:

*The usual misunderstandings

*A powerful guy getting more powerful

*A pretty smart mc (might have the side effects oftoo muchmonologue.)

*A cozy farming life (?)

Interesting premise and system, but I have some trouble following why the main character does certain things. There are some leaps in logic that aren't explained, which makes the main character seem very impulsive. It's clear the author is aiming for "show don't tell," which is a good goal, but sometimes we need a bit of telling.

This story has a lot of ratings (avg. 3.8), but no reviews and I think it's time to change that.
I'll start with the positives. The writing style is pretty decent and fairly easy to read most of the time. I think the System is pretty clever, in so much as it's just a few neat tricks that he has to strengthen/evolve specifically and/or use in creative ways. And I think the advantages that the gods/System give him have a lot of potential to be useful, especially the Locator spell and Crafting skill.
That said, it has its fair share of faults, and while the story is on hiatus, at 76 chapters I was expecting more.
First, the story doesn't live up to the promises in the synopsis, and that's disappointing. Okay, yes, the first part is mostly true:

Again, that's mostly true with two caveats. One, he only "finds an interest in taking care of a farm." In 76 chapters, he never gets around to actually taking care of a farm, though he does make some very incremental progress to getting a farm and getting it ready. Two, the protagonist is "a young heir to an energy focused company" is name only. Frankly, he reads more like your average teenager at a public school than that. (And, as an aside, the protagonist has 3-4 different personalities to whatever suits the situation, which frankly makes him a weak character).
