- BlasserMondRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5STYLE:
The writing is excellent, and the descriptions for the scenes are also very well done. The details that were given didn't feel unnecessary and successfully immersed me in the story. The diverse words that the author put into his story certainly help eliminate feelings of mundaneness.
STORY:
I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of fantasy/adventure stories but this story holds up quite well, the quest are quite interesting, and again, due to the writings, it help bring me intrigue with the world and lore that this story takes place in. My only gripe perhaps is that Eileen's motivation is still quite weak but that is to be expected since there are only a few chapters as of me writing the review.
GRAMMAR:
Keep in mind that I'm ESL, but I found no problem reading it with the exception of the prologue, i found a few odd sentences or words here and there and couldn't really tell what it's trying to convey. Regardless, I found no issue in chapter 1 and onward.
CHARACTER:
The other parts that maintains my intrigue with the story itself aside from the superb writing. I like Aileen and her reactions/interaction with the world/people, especially her party. She feels unique and also somewhat charming. While I haven't got much feel around the other characters introduced so far, it's only a matter of time. As the chapters grew, so too will the characters.
OVERALL:
A promising series with great storytelling and characters.
I have to say though, as a small nitpick, I think that the synopsis might be a bit too short/not interesting enough. I think some descriptions more about the world, Eileen herself, her companions, or perhaps more details about the locations she will go through would give more intrigue to first time viewers reading the synopsis. - LleayaaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This was a very solid and enjoyable start to a potentially great book. Right off the bat I was greatly interested. Such a feat is usually difficult after one chapter so I applaud the author on that front.
Style
The writing style fits well with the story and the pacing is nice and smooth. I found it hard to find any major formatting issues or other problematic issues. Overall the style was really smooth and only made the story better.
Story
I am a SUCKER for multi-lead fantasy stories(or really any fantasy-based stories). The premise is refreshing anf unique and the author writes descriptive paragraphs that only amplifies its brilliance. Overall the story so far is wonderful, if anything I just wish there was more chapters so I can fall more into it.
Grammar
The grammar only has a few issues(nothing major), only some missing commas. But, there’s one issue in the early chapters is the double spacing between words. I found it awkward to read and it made parts confusing. But after a bit they vanished. A quick re-read and slight editing can fix them entirely.
Character
Now, since there’s limited chapters of course there isn’t gonna be a MASSIVE amount of character development. With that aside… Aileen is a breath of fresh air. She’s truly refreshing and her descriptive personality is really calming. Now the other characters are just as good. Each feels unique and has a wonderful presence.
Overall
I’ve really enjoyed the book so far and i’m quite excited to see where it goes.
What I want to see
One thing… More chapters… That is all. - PixxieRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Okay, for starters, I enjoy reading this story so far, especially its world building. I loved every minute of it. Now the only things that confused me was the fourth chapter and some of its grammar issues that needs to be fixed. I felt like the chapter should be a space between the two parts of it to make it less confusing. Everything else is great, and I hope you keep up the good work.
