Endless Isekai - the Life of Arson Omni
Community Rating
Description
Seven season cycles old Arson is far too mature for his age. As an orphan in the world of Cultivation, his only known option was always destined to be a life of poverty. But gifts can be found even in the darkest and most unexpected places (like a literal junkyard). Arson's parental abandonment has made him into quite a resourceful young man who is launched into a world of RPG-like stats, mana, madness, and maniacal levels of power. His powers grow as does his knowledge, physical, and mental strength. Some gifts can become burdens. When the weight of the Univers lands on his shoulders, Arson must level up or lose out."My mother is a hero, none may see her as such, but we all live and breathe due to her sacrifices. My father is a villain, beloved by the realm and those he reigns over, but what does that make me?” - Arson of Omni

What to expect:
*No harems. No Profanity. Seemingly Overpowered MC. True crafting system introduced by Vol4. Occasional System related losses in power, but don’t worry the bounce back is worth the read! Subtle romantic elements, but primarily this is a Anti-Hero Progressionist series, with undertones of villainy.

- AzralRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A very realistic and immersive world and universe with the characters going from weak to strong. A myriad of worlds and such. Haven't seen any monster waves described in much detail except a few. They added great amounts of fun though. The main character progresses rather quickly due to his situation luck and circumstances that make up the story so far though the world and story could take a lifetime of creative work to flesh out fully and I'm hoping for at least a few thousand chapters. It's great story great characters and great amazing and well written definitely 5 stars. Keep it going forever lol thanks
- OmacronRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've never felt the need to write a review before so forgive me if It's not the most well written or longest review you've ever seen.
- Grammar:
I'm not a grammar nazi the story reads fine for me in fact i don't even read it, i get it read to me by an application. So I don't know if I'm the best person to ask about grammar as most mistakes may be glazed over in my mind, but to my knowledge there are little to no grammatically mistakes in most chapters.
- Story/style:
I Don't know if my interposition of style is correct as to what thy want you to talk about in these reviews but I'll just do my best as I understand the category is intended to mean. I can't say the authors style agrees with me, I've asked them many times to add more descriptive language for the environment or to create an atmosphere during a scene, but I guess that's not the writing style they are aiming for so I've decided to accept what the author choses to share with the audience. One other area i feel the author could improve is with foreshadowing their are some great plot points, but they aren't all as well hinted As I think they could be. This issue may just be me be less of a fan of the fast pace of the story the author has set .
Other than those points, I like the story and the author does in fact know how to use descriptive language and when they do use it it's appreciated. The story has a few misunderstandings early on with a few plot points but they are smoothed over quickly and the misunderstanding was mostly on my part. This story has many great pieces of worldbuilding and I hope to more explore those elements in the future. one minor grip i have is with the author giving us only a glimpse of some of the interesting developments in the background not related to the MC. I wish those events were more fleshed out, but I guess that's the downside of the author having so may great ideas they can't explore all of them as inadeptly as their audience may want.
- Characters:
Very early on I feel th - Shungite2020Royal Road★★★★ 4.0It was very intriguing and very interesting in the beginning, However as the story progressed it got a bit more complex and muddled. Honestly at this point of the story I am very confused with what is going on.
However if you are used to complex plot lines and diverging viewpoints this is a story for you! I may revisit this book again in the future and start from the first chapter and try and understand it again but... As of right now I am giving it a break and maybe I can understand it in the future. - CardinalRRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The Premise: Arson Omni is the only child of two incredibly powerful cultivators, given extra power by being gestated in his mother's womb for centuries (poor woman!), and his birth is so momentous that the Heavens themselves release a kingdom-destroying Tribulation on his family. Fortunately, he's whisked away to an orphanage by the "System" where he has to learn to be a Cultivator by puberty or else he'll probably explode.
The Story so far: After seven-year-old Arson reveals that he can cultivate in his school class with dangerous results that match his name, he's kicked out of school. As a Cultivator, he's now a legal adult and needs to get a job. Fortunately, this seven year old lucks into a job at a literal garbage dump where he can farm monsters for EXP, find broken treasures to repair, and eventually plans on starting a couple businesses. All whilst ignoring the crown symbol that announces he's the disinherited heir to the kingdom.
There's a weird blend of sci-fi elements, magic, bits and pieces from Cultivation stories, and a System that's all readable as long as you don't ask too many questions about the worldbuilding.
“Kid, what are you doing in the dump that has you throwing around this kind of money,” said Jasmine.
“Nothing that you need to worry about." - Arson Omni
^ Pretty much.
It's a slow burn, so as of Ch 10, I'm nowhere near the maniacal levels of power in the Prologue. Actually, I'm still in the literal junkyard. Temper your expectations accordingly. - blahlingRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The speed at which everything takes place after the Orphan Mother starts to "train" the MC becomes dizzyingly distracting. One moment, the whole story is a steady experience, and then we start getting a mixture of time skips and multi-month developments compressed into a single week passing inside the story.
The lack of detail about the environment during these scenes can sometimes become annoying. One moment, you'll be thinking the MC is in a warehouse still talking to people, only to learn that he is out training in his usual place, only to be hopped back to his house and eating with people. Thankfully, these types of issues were not common enough to make me lose complete interest, and sometimes, the author does a great job of describing the changes to the surroundings quite thoroughly.
Overall, the breaking point for me was:
what should have been a huge growth event for the MC to solidify his stance on whether he is gonna be killing his opponents or not in a very "you can be killed at any time by a cultivator" world, only for him to do a complete 180 on his stance and become cheerful buddies with the people he was vowing to kill for their almost successful murder attempt on him.
