Description

The bright red light of the flames swallowed her vision but soon that red light transformed into a blue hue and she was dragged into that light.

‘What’s happening?’

It was too bright and she was forced to close her eyes, she was blinded — even though she was already dead.

After being pulled into the light she began to feel annoyed as her skin was irritated by some kind of rough sand.

By the time she opened her eyes. She could see the full view of the sky. It was blue and there were clouds scattered about.

‘Ugh, is this Hell?’

She stated as she rubbed her head with her fluffy and furry ‘hand’.

‘Furry?’

She looked at her ‘hands’ and her mouth opened wide. Her hands had become soft and fluffy paws of a white-furred beast with purple spots.

‘What the hell?’

She touched her face with her paws and confirmed that it too did not belong to a human. Below, she felt something was moving, she can tell as if it was another limb connected to her.

‘Don’t tell me!’

Turning her head around, she found a seven-inch tail sticking out behind.

‘Phew!’ She felt relieved that it wasn’t what she thought it was.

“These soft and paws, this cuddly fluffy hair, this cute tail — ah shit, did I become a beast after my death or have I been dreaming of being human as a beast all this time? If it is the latter that is one long and realistic dream.”

Also, this is a new type of story that I have not read about yet. Basically I am writing an evolution novel without prior knowledge so I don't really know what is considered cliche in this genre.

Setting
Set in a post apocalyptic world where earth was destroyed by humanity's folly, this world now have a system but that is not the focus but its MC, Lilith who's a former boss of an underground organization. She was killed and then before death, was saved by the "Useless" Goddess and is then turned to a Monster or daemon.
The story, it is quite nice.
The characters being just put there and being never mentioned again like so many others. The MC is a villain and despite her childishness I can see that as her just bein an eccentric though it can at times be too much. But that is not a negative for me because I really like her choosing power over becoming human again (Yes, this is a story where the MC does not choose to become human again and chose to instead embrace her daemon side and grow stronger, yes, crazy, I know, jk.
Note: one of the black horse character I really took a liking to would be her System Manager.
I can't say much about the grammar and style store because I'm no expert.
But this is not flawless as it is still lacking in story and some major world devolopment, but with how it's going, I am willing to wait and see how this Cute Empress grows and evolve to rule - DEATH TO THE WOLVES

While my opinion on this story is reflected in the actual score I have given it, I have no other way to share this besides the review.
This story isn’t actually on hiatus.
Well, let me clarify that. It is on hiatus on this website, but is already at 222 chapters as of one hour ago on Webnovel.
I will be honest, I absolutely despise the way Webnovel works, how you have to buy each individual chapter with no alternative, and I don’t look forward to paying over 100 dollars to read a single novel just because it has 1000+ chapters, no matter how much I enjoy the story itself. So, just be warned that you will either have to wait for the RR version to go off hiatus, or deal with Webnovel’s issues.

The premise was interesting, with the MC being reincarnated into a daemon. The issue I have there is that she can also transform into two other forms, making her extremely OP from the start. That made the story feel like it had no suspense, because the MC can just transform into some other form and escape.
The side characters so far are barely 'alive'. It feels like they exist just for the sake of the MC to be fangirls. Maybe they gain depth later on, but right now they feel like devoted fangirls. The MC herself gives off the impression of being extremely childish and petty, which doesn't suit her past at all. When her system told her to be the empress of all the daemons, her only worry was that she only rules in the shadows. But she accepts it like no big deal, like being chosen by a goddess to be a daemon empress is just another thing in her life.
The style of the story is a bit confusing, because the author doesn't explain some things. The pacing is slow, meandering here and there.
The grammar is fine. There are small mistakes sprinkled here and there, but it doesn't interfere with the story itself.
My main gripe about this, though, is that the MC is way too OP in the beginning, and there's no explanation at all why she's that way. She gives off the vibe of a future marry sue.
But in the end, the story itself was fine. I think it deserves a 3.5/5, because it felt like an average story for this website (Not that I would know. I'm basing it off my own experiences).
