Emergent Sovereign [Hiatus]

(17th Jan 2025 | Due to personal circumstances, I have to announce a hiatus whilst I get some other things sorted out. I don't know if anyone is interested in the story, but for the few that are; I felt it best to say it will be on pause for a bit. I have to do a project for my father's business as well as attempt to start my own side business. I need to have as much redundancy in place in the likely event that I am a failure in my pursuit of storytelling or else become a complete failure.

An energetics chemist is trapped within his home nation that has been corrupted by authoritarian rule. In the midst of his attempted escape from the country he is killed and awakens in a world devoid of humanity yet discovers a spark of it in an evolving hominid species. However, the world is not as it seems; the great constructs of the previous inhabitants are stirring and the creatures of the savage wilds are growing more agitated.

In his attempt to survive in this world he will confront the inhibitions in his consciousness and learn what the purpose of his afterlife will be. Will he reach a catharsis with the betrayal and heartache of his past life while nurturing a burgeoning civilization in the new world?
