Elysium Mist- the story is a bit slow paced but so far I'm enjoying it
I liked the premise despite it being a bit overused.
I am a fan of isekai fantasy novels so this one is right up my alley.
For those who are reading this review, I like every novel that is of this genre therefore take my word as a pinch of salt.
Read it yourself and form your own opinion.

I want to enjoy the story.
The concept is good, and the world setting is quite interesting.
No spoilering, but the setup of what is happening is a good lead up. And some of the people helping post integration feeling slightly shady is a nice touch. No one is blantantly in the wrong or obvjously up to no good. But it does feel slightly off with some of their actions, in a good pay attention to this way.
But the main character Noah rubs me the wrong way. Sometimes smart, sometimes pants on head dumb. He seems to make several "right" choices then go completely off the rails and make the worst decision that he could. No real reason as to when the switch will occur. I get that he is a teenager, at least I assume so, but his inconsistent actions and choices are too much for me and making me drop the story. And his friends just shrugging and pretty much going "yep he does this some times" isnt helping.
I'll come back and check it again later to see if it gets better. I hope it does.
