In Elven Lies: Books of Fate, Far in the distant lands, Rudolf and Sierra have sheltered the last blood of Imperials. Saving him from the cutthroat world of politics and power. But how long will they be able to hold the curious young mind that spares no efforts to go out and make a name for himself like them?

Author's reviewElven Lies is the story of a father drowning in guilt for his son's death. He sets himself to right his wrongs and his actions, deep and tactical, wrote this story of Hans, his child. His love for his son will come in many forms, throwing you in doubt and questioning his morality, yet every time you'd realise that whatever he did, from the sickening wrong to the honourable right, had only one purpose, to save Hans from his unavoidable fate.

Title: The Parvian Sun
Listen, for I have foreseen a future dark and drear,When the heavens weep and the earth reeks with fear,
A time when the blood soils the skies and Rain paints the land red,When the Parvian sun rises, filling all with dread.
A time when sorrow and despair descend upon this land,The time of the sun's fiery glare bringing our world to its end,
We cowered, we shrivelled, our hearts filled with woe,We cry for a saviour, hiding from the evil's glow.
Mortal beings, take heed of my words and be prepared,For the reckoning is near as fate had declared,
Ready thyself and bolster for the incoming storm,And pray that you shall weather it with a heart that's warm,
For the future is bleak, and the end is in sight,We beg for a being to stop the malevolent light.
The blood soils the skies and Rain paints the land red,The Parvian sun rises, filling all with dread.

- Sumit1698Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Its intresting and any one who like fantasy genre would definitely like it. Its definitely different from progression system from other novels.
Till now the Mc only did learning so it is good to see him interacting with other people. Glad that a character is helping him change into a cold hearted one
Ps- Waiting for Hans to make a name for himself in the academy 🙂
Should you read it
Yes definitely - readerDaddyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I recently read this, and I have to say, my initial impressions were mixed. TBH, I was skeptical before starting this book, and the prologue and first chapter didn't grab me right away. I put it on my 'read later' list and moved on to other books.
However, after some time, I found myself running out of things to read, so I decided to give it a second chance. To my surprise, I quickly found myself hooked and eating up chapters like hot cakes. While the author switches between POVs quite often, I stopped worrying since it was written that way. I found the quirky habits and unique way of talking of the MC to be fun, and the past foreshadowing many times keep me hooked to know more
One thing that really impressed me was the strong backstory of the book. It really set the stage for the present story to unfold. Despite some weaknesses in pacing, I think author did a great job with the plot, characters, and themes. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys high fantasy While it might not be for everyone, I think it's definitely worth a read.
I do think it's worth mentioning that some readers might find the frequent POV switches and pacing to be a bit jarring at times. Personally, I didn't mind, but I can see how it might be a turnoff for some. With that said, I definitely think 'Elven lies' deserves at least a 4-star rating, if not higher. So don't be put off by any negative reviews you might see - give it a chance and see for yourself! - rookieReaderRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overview - just wow,  I have finished till the latest chapter and the story might contain some reused plot line but the unique elements are sure fun to read and each character having their unique tone and story really want you to bread more. all I can emphasize upon is, you will find the story with a real perspective of a cheeky ten year old. The words and his actions really felt like a child's doing. he constantly keep making her grandmother focus her attention on hin instead of her husband, like a child seeking for attention. ofcourse the way both him and his grandfather nteract with each other, trying to push other down but also loving each other like a real family. A lot happened to this point his whole one year in Concordia passed, he made two friends and meet a lot of boss level character. I can't help but wait for him to grow up and be at their level.
style -I have read many novels on different sites and can say this style is a bit unique, you will feel like you are reading a scenario of a moive or drama. it helps you to understand the exact emotion a character is feeling during the converstaion. so far I am liking this writing style not to mention some of the words that RUdolf said to Hans felt deep. A mix of fpp and tpp is balanced in this
story-Â it's a bit different from LitRpg and now I know why since instead of gaining an ability like completing a task from system, MC need to comprehend how a skill work and master it by himself. Sometimes he has to self create a skill too. Gaining the spell book does not feel like he could master the spell instanlty but have to work hard on perfecting it. story progression is good with a slow start but pace up after chapter 25. there is one thing I find like a plot hole but it's my own opinion: how will they make Hans a low-key student when his father was so powerful and all the world might have at least seen him once. I am looking forward to see how author will handle it
grammar- Yes I have seen the improvements in you - TheUltraVRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Its quite intresting plot, with deep background. No character is unnecessary and has his own story to tell.
One thing I should mention is this fiction made me create an account.
Overview- good story with many things yet to reveal. A sword prodigy forced to become a mage of power unknown to the world. He gives the feeling of one becoming an OP character. His conversation with his grandparents are quite relatable.
Style - its similar to many novels with pov switching not often. You will learn what a caharcter is feeling while talking.
grammar - needs improvements, i mean prose does not sound right sometimes but it wont stop you from reading when you get attached to mc like me
Conclusion- Click the first chapter and enjoy - YuLongRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I found this in the forum, I was a guest reader till now but the story getting spammed by one star ratings made me check this out.
So here is my honest review, the story doesn't have any unique elements but it is not that bad to get one star. The MC is a boy of eight but I found his way of speaking like an adult sometimes but it turned out of a plot thing. Glad that I read the comments before dropping this, I thought author was a total noob who did not know to write consistently.
So for the story, it's typical fantasy world of dragon, knight and mages. It starts of with a fight between dragon and mc and the story turned to flashback. A lot of foreshadowing the past and the boy got a way to harness unlimited mana the OP element.
Good world introduction but poor character introduction. Don't get me wrong, the author started the story and left to readers to imagine how characters looks. On the other hand he did a great job portraying thier personality but that became a big deal for me so I am deducting one star for it.
Conclusion - people spamming this should be ashamed. I can't say it's a 5star material but it definitely deserves more than one star so stop spamming an author's work. - ScreamingtoasterRoyal Road★★ 2.0The world making/history of this world seems pretty interesting but I didn't really read too much farther to really have much good to say about this story other than that.
One thing I don't really like is the fact that no one is really ever described in any detail in the first dozen chapters. You know his grandpa is old and his grandma looks much younger but that is about it. You really don't get any description of characters other than their age and a bit about their personality.
It is also a bit weird that they live in a place specifically because of how hard it is to get to, yet it doesn't seem to stop people from just dropping in and sending letters and threatening them. If these guys are that strong I don't know why they even entertain unwanted guests.
The worst and most annoying thing here is by far all the writing errors. Between misspelled words, missing punctuation, and spelling errors I felt like I had to keep stopping and rereading stuff or trying to figure out if they were thinking something or saying it. There is plenty of comments point out tons of errors, and there are still so many that kept tripping me up so yeah that is by far my biggest complaint. A really thorough reread and edit would make the story much easier to read. Maybe use quotation marks for actual speaking and italics only when they're thinking something?
Also whats up with the one random blue box that just said disconnected or something? Just uh, seemed really random and semi pointless. Maybe I just didn't read far enough into it to find out.
I'd bump this up another 1-1.5 stars if it was edited really well. And maybe another .5 if it things were described a bit more clearly other than politics and personalities. I didn't get far enough into it to really say much about the story itself but the personalities and lore seemed like they were off to a good start.
