Nearly three thousand years have passed since the Great war. With humanity coming out as the winner to form the mighty Republic. A power that has held supremacy since the end of the war. A fact many wish to change. And with whispers of an impending war, change is on the horizon.

A change Damon Beaumont is completely unaware of. As he has something bigger to worry about: The upcoming Awakening ceremony. An important event he has been waiting for ever since his mother told him of the stories of the legendary Lords of Elements. The Founders and Protectors of the Republic. So without knowing his result of the Awakening Ceremony, wars and chaos were things to put lower on the list of priorities, especially for a boy of twelve that was of commoners descent.
